Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Cave is located approx. 5km from the junction of Midlands Road and Eagle Hill Road, a nice slow drive through Watheroo National Park. By this stage we had managed to purchase some fly nets as protection from the friendly bush flies. The cave area is accessed via a short track, there are a number of very informative signs, visitors book, unisex toilets and picnic table. View the cave entrance from the rocky outcrops, I think access and entry should be left to specialists in cave exploration, the area may look benign but better to heed the warning sign. Great photo opportunities of the rocky formations surrounding and good views from the lookout area above the cave . Too late in the wildflower season for our visit.

Fantastic little excursion, only 5 kms off the main road. Lovely walk around the cave and great views over the valley. Toilets and picnic tables. Easy access with a caravan and room to turn around. Highly recommend.

At the end of an unsealed road is the car park for the Jingamia Caves.
The road is suitable for all vehicles including caravans. There is a turning circle at the caves, however the last few hundred metres is single lane with bends.

A lovely footpath has been laid with a way in and back route. Its only a short distance from the car park, and the track circles over the top of the cave.

There is no entrance into the cave due to unstable rock conditions.
There is a basic toilet available too.

The wildflowers were really lovely when we ere there.

Worth a passing visit

Wow - I lived in Moora for many years and never knew this cave existed! A beautiful spot, well worth the visit. It is well signposted so you can read about the geological significance of the area.
