We decided to camp nearby. We were beset by mosquitoes the entire time, some sun-up to sundown. There were stuck between the fly and the tent and our kids spent the whole time purging clouds of them from the tent. Beware. There is lots of...More

Worth the climb to the top using the steps next to the reservoir. Very warm up on top, however, so try to avoid going up in the middle of the day!

Good to go and see it so you can feel the environment of it when you see a photo of it. Colours nice but you really need to do photos with something in it so you can have the scale of how big it actually...More

Worth the drive. Very unique. Flat easy walk- you can also climb up the rock with beautiful views. 1 hour is more than enough time - even to walk to hippos yawn.

We enjoyed a morning here and afternoon at Mulka's cave, in October. We saw lizards and sun orchids on the top of the rock and did the longer circular trail out towards the airstrip where we saw kangaroos. A wonderful bush experience for us foreigners!

Went a few times as the light changes the colours of the rock at different times of the day. It can get busy so try and visit later on in the day when it's cooler.. Easy stroll along a sealed path from the car park.

Wave Rock is a beautiful rock formation but the real beauty lies in the scenery from the top. The 'climb' to the top is short and takes just a few minutes but the views from the top are breathing. Pictures can't capture the vastness of...More

We thought it worth while to deviate from our travels down the West Coast to see this incredible natural phenomenon. The circular walk was certainly worth while but obviously the main event is seeing the mighty Wave Rock! It is definitely worth arriving early because...More
