Definitely worth the climb! Amazing views, good physical workout. Plenty of families. Hold onto your hat.

Going to go back and climb this one day. The caves at the top would be worth the climb alone let alone the views.

You do not need to climb the peak to appreciate it, just drive down Cape Le Grand Road and park up and look at this, take your camera, it is so quiet down here.

I remember climbing Frenchman Peak many years ago when I was much younger. It provided wonderful views which isn't surprising because you can see the peak from miles away including from the Esperance foreshore.

I didn't climb it on this trip and even my wife - who is much fitter than me - baulked because of the steepness and need to climb up and over rock. We did, however, walk to the base and enjoyed the scenery including some wonderful fauna.

A couple of people who we saw come down looked shattered.

Well worth the climb if you're fit and energetic.

The local guide book was misleading, calling this a MEDIUM climb. More like the class 5 which the signage alerts you too at the base!! The only thing the book got right was allow 1.5hrs and spectacular views. We had an overcast day, and halfway up could see rain approaching, which had me worried about the descent. Luckily we missed the rain, and enjoyed stopping to catch our breath and take in the views frequently. I’m chuffed we went to the top, but wouldn’t put my knees through it again.

Challenging climb to the top but the views when you arrive across the park reward you for your efforts.

It is a steep challenging hike especially when it's hot. As higher we walked, the naked stone was more and more slippery. We stopped approximately after two third of the way and did not go to the top. We had still a stunning view but not 360° as it would be on the top. We enjoyed the hike and it was worth to stop there.

This was a challenging walk - more like hike! We were fit but it is a very steep hike up and the wind can make challenging. Difficult to carry water bottle as well. Caution does need to be taken.

Stunning views from the top or even half way up the summit. It is a hard walk and the climb is very steep in some area's of the summit so it is for people that are quite fit. The walk/climb gets very hot and it is very dry, and I would not set out without good walking shoes, sunscreen and water. It does offer amazing views and loads of plant life along the walk.
