    Unexpected, awe inspiring!
I had low expectations and thought it might be some amateurish display. I was already thinking of some Spinal Tap jokes!! I could not have been more wrong! I was awestruck!! A life size granite replica of Stonehenge as it would have looked 4000 years ago! Yes really !! It’s is majestic, mysterious and a must see. Just go!!

outstanding! Best thing to see nr Esperance
An amazing achievement. Hundreds of tons of rock carved out of a quarry, then laboriously raised into position. Result: a lifesize reproduction of the original complete stonehenge in UK, & MUCH better to visit. So impressive, these stones towering above you. With a great gallery of pics showing how it was done.

    In and out
Still slightly confused by the whole thing to be honest - even having spent 30 mins wondering around it…. Calling it a replica is ‘loose’ as it’s not built the same (different stone, method of erecting, footings etc) as the original although like the original in the Uk, it’s smaller than anticipated… It was a very quick visit. The site does have potential, especially with the briefing which is abit 1986… The ladies were very friendly and knew their briefing script well. Personally, it felt too expensive for what it was. There was only 2 of us - I feel bad for those family groups. It’s a good visit and if I had the space and money, I’d build it too! It’s just steep for such a short visit time-wise. To increase value, time spent inside needs to increase…

    A wonder of Esperance
Who would believe it -- Stonehenge in it's entirety in Esperance!!! . Full size, all in local granite, a complete wow moment . Just wander around and soak it in. This will be here forever, up there with one of the great Aussie attractions.

    Worth visit but overpriced.
Overpriced entry at $14.00 per adult. Great that someone has done this to have as an attraction but surely if charging this much per adult they can provide proper flushing toilet. I think it is disgraceful and just price gouging from public to have horrid portable toilets especially with crap down the back of the bowl, I hate dirty toilets. Enjoyed the Stonehenge but experience lost when I had to use the dirty portable toilet.

Potential to be so much better
At $14 and $1 off for Seniors thought this a bit of a ripoff. Much more advertising is required. Only found out about it from a friend then looked it up. This has so much potential. A real cafe would be nice. Proper toilets and not demountable. Perhaps fully contained caravans could stay.

    A little pricey
We visited and we blown away by how good this is. It is an exact replica of the one in the UK..it is pricey to get in and the staff are a little prickly - think this is a WA thing as we have encountered it all over the state But would still recommend a visit if you are in esperance.

Customer Service made us feel stupid that we didn't know how the family tickets worked and questioned how old the kids were. Was not worth the 12 dollars for adults since I have not seen where these maintenance costs go and I have not seen anywhere why it would be this much except the only explanation given is its always been this way and i have seen multiple reviews that its too much despite them saying other people The guests I was with kept asking what Stonehenge was there was only a small piece of paper that was the same as the sign there of info. Was not told about concession prices. The gift shop is well stocked for a relatively low price which was a plus. I would recommend the customer service becomes much better in attracting people to this tourist site. Instead of just discouraging people who haven't paid and saying it's for safety reasons when we know its for your business and I do understand supporting a small local business but I would rather spend that money on businesses that treated me as an excited tourist and gave me more information rather than just rather than just another opportunity to make more money. I think this would help your business many people don't come to these places again if they've already seen it they rely on reviews like these and people telling their friends and families and some of the responses of the reviews and reactions by the group i was with and strangers I met there was appalling. I would highly recommend to change these attitudes to be more inviting for this business to keep thriving.

Hi. We are Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. We do like to explain our pricing to large groups to avoid any confusion to ensure our visitors are paying the correct entry fee. When we have large groups we have found it works well to split them into family groups so they get the best value for money. We regret that you were offended when we asked the age of your children. Our family tickets are only valid for children under 16 years of age. Visitors 16 and older are required to pay an adult entry fee. We also do not like to charge infant's under the age of 6 so we do ask visitors this questions every day. We do have beautiful gardens which are constantly being admired and complimented on. We have staff that have to be paid and we have toilets that have to be cleaned. Not to mention the actual work and craftsmanship that went into building the Esperance Stonehenge and the lush lawns you walk on. This is where the maintenance fees go. We appreciate every visitor and we do enjoy giving our visitors a complete rundown of our story when time permits. We are in peak holiday season and we are trying our best to ensure all visitors are served efficiently and do not have to wait in a massive queue. Thank you for your feedback it is greatly appreciated and we will take your comments onboard.

Underwhelming, and staff were incredibly rude. Was told that students were “sometimes” concession but not today, and that being a uni student wasn’t really a student was it? Being ridiculed at the door left us a bit frustrated but we paid the full amount and went to go see the structure - which was truly underwhelming. You could see that every measure went to trying to pump money out of this thing instead of celebrating what a weird and wacky piece of art it was! 10/10 do not recommend

We are sorry you felt ridiculed! This was not our intention at all. Previously the concession price was for seniors only, we do need to review this so thank you for your feedback. We will take it on board and do our best so that this does not happen in the future.

Upon entering we were greeted by a grey haired elderly lady who started out pleasantly but it soon changed when we said only my husband was going through and I was going to browse the shop and have a coffee. She said the shop was only for people that paid and I was to wait outside. Needless to say she missed out on any dollar's from me, not a great way to run a business.

Hi. Thanks for your comments, we have rules in place to ensure everyone is treated fairly. Upon entering the premises there is a sign that states entry fee is required past this point. Unfortunately due to experience this rule is there for a reason so we are strict that only payi g customers can use the facilities. We apologise if this upset you. Again thank you for taking the time to give us feedback.

Arrived too late on a week day afternoon and the place was shut, so wife and I parked down the road to have a look from about 700 metres away.
We put a drone up to see if it was worth staying a night in Esperance to go see the New Stonhenge the next day but about 60 seconds after we parked and put the kids drone up a crazy lady from the stonehenge place came roaring down her driveway, unlocked her chain gate and drove across the road pulling up next to us and began a tirade at us that was quite an over reaction. She did not want a conversation but began making threats and grandiose gestures while making a big show of taking our number plate. I tried to be polite and speak to her but she was properly off her rocker. I might add the drone was about 120 metres up and away from her precious stonehenge.. We wont be visiting this place with such a bitter shrew running the place. If we were the owners I would be happy if the public showed an interest in my product but her overzealous protection of her stones which includes a silly length of shade cloth to prevent people driving along the road from seeing her landmark and telling people off down the road on public property was a bit rich. Its a big No from us.

Thank you for your comments. Please note that signage will tell you that it is illegal to park on that road. You were illegally flying a drone above Stonehenge without the owners consent therefore you where trespassing. We do allow drones in the Stonehenge when it is arranged beforehand. We are open 8am-2pm every day. There is also a phone number for after hours so visitors can call and arrange a visit. Had you have done that we would have happily let you come in and fly your drone as previous others have.

Highly recommended. At first, I thought this would be a fluke. Instead, this is a very good experience because :
(1) It is made from real stone - and that's when you realise what it must have meant to build the real one in England all those 00's of years ago
(2) it is real size - and that's when you realise that it is very big. Not something that was built in a summer.
(3) the acoustics inside - once you go inside, the sound changes completely and you become much more aware of your surroundings.
Unless you plan to visit the real thing in the UK, it is $12pp well spent.

Beautiful site, but we can’t say that about their customer service. When doing the covid check in, I mentioned that we were from covid free NT in an attempt at light conversation. I was about to say that we are more than happy to follow covid rules to keep everyone safe. She interrupted me, saying “you still have to do the process” in a less than welcoming tone and posture. She assumed that I was trying to resist the check in/sanitation process, which was not the case. When I asked about the entry fees apparently she also assumed that we were trying to misrepresent our family size, which again, was not the case. We were happy to pay for our entire family and were simply asking for the price. She told us to go back to the sign and have a look which wasn’t even an issue. Ironically, when we left we DID look at the sign and she overcharged us. It’s key to allow a customer to finish their sentence and/or questions before jumping to the wrong conclusion and thereby presenting oneself as a miserable human being. Not worth the money or the attitude!

Your verbal and written feedback has been noted. The verbal allegations and accusations made against the Manager and the subsequent written recollections have not been supported by witnesses. The Covid rules apply to all visitors regardless of their origins. Family entry fee applies to 2 adults and children under 16. (2+2) or (2+3). $37 was not an overcharge.

This place is awesome!!
In the middle of nowhere at the bottom of Western Australia is a perfect replica of the one built 4000 years ago and about 15,000kms away!
We’ve been to the original in Wiltshire UK and driven past it numerous times on our travels, and it was great to see what it originally looked like!
Tracey (I think she’s the owner or custodian) explained the (very brief) history of the structures and was so lovely! I can’t imagine how special it would be to experience the solstices here!
Definitely worth the $14, regardless of what other reviewers say, especially if you’ve been to England and also understand the significance and expertise behind the design!!

Quite an interesting unique place. Very friendly staff who were very keen to tell you the history and fill in lots of details. However it was $12 per person, with very little to see or do for this and seemed quite expensive. Only ‘Porta Loos’ and a very basic gift shop indeed. I felt it needed something a bit better to warrant the cost of entry. We were in and out in 45 minutes.

Having visited the Real Stonehenge back in the 70s when one could walk around and through it, this was worth the travel out of town to see what it probably looked liked on completion.

The granite. used are huge and the setting out on farm land seems appropriate. I enjoyed the experience and gathering by the numbers parking and paying the entrance fee, others are also interested in this.

As a tourist we wanted to support the locals, however on doing this we were confronted with a very poor example of the support of tourists. We were made to feel embarrassed, we were made to feel like were doing something wrong and all we were doing was waiting for our wives to enjoy the Stonehenge experience which infact they didn't, at the cost of $12 per head. Would we recommend the experience? We believe that the $36 (3×$12) would be better spent elsewhere especially if it involved a smile!!!!
