Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We walked from the Taylor Street precinct to the jetty and back in what is a modern, landscaped development suited to outdoor activities. Plenty of good walking paths, various historic elements, interesting flora and a fair bit of varied birdlife.

A very pleasant walk and a good way to enjoy a couple of hours of exercise.

There are so many beautiful stretches of coastline in Esperance, which are hard to compete with. But considering this is in the town itself, it's very nice. They've developed the path very nicely, and there are picnic tables and shelters along the way, and plenty of things to see or do (e.g. parks).

Having been on the road for a few hours, our thoughts turned to coffee! We had driven into Esperance and found The Coffee Cat luckily for us as part of the beautiful foreshore area near to the Jetty. Parking was easily found and straight to order. Staff were friendly and happily fulfilled my orders. Then came the chance to look around. What we discovered was a superb foreshore area, beautifully laid out, a wonderful mix of facilities including playground, BBQ, a bench to charge your phone, and varying works of public art.

The views over Esperance Bay were superb. I liked the way that some of the art utilised parts of the original jetty prior to the rebuilding, same with some of the tables and seating in the park.

By the way, the coffee from The Coffee Cat was wonderful – a good strength with a mellow aftertaste. Thank you for a great coffee – well appreciated with a wonderful Foreshore to sit and enjoy it was an added bonus.

Return? Most definitely our first stop again when travelling to Esperance.

We took advantage of escooters to travel the foreshore and had a great time exploring from Taylor St up to Coffee Cat at the tanker jetty. Hats off to the local council for developing such an attractive and fun area. The skate parks, ocean swimming pool and numerous gazebos and bbq areas make for a real visitor destination, a great first impression for the town.

Lovely walk and informative plaques along the way. Interesting new jetty and a great coffee outlet at the start of the jetty, however, I have no idea why it is not open at the weekends, or why it is only open until 2pm.

Good to see that council have resisted the temptation to sell off land on the beach side of the road to developers. This is a great space for both locals and visitors to enjoy - and plenty were doing just that over the last weekend. Enjoy the space.

A pleasant way to stroll along a well maintained and clean sea front of this nice touristic town. Parking is easy, there are toilets and benches to sit on to calmly observe the bay and take some photos. A relaxing succession of green areas and nice recreational activities along a quiet walking path which is worth seeing if you have time left over after the most interesting visits to Cape Le Grand National Park and attractions along the Great Ocean Drive.

This is one of the best sea-front walks that you will find in WA. They have done a great job making smooth paths and providing amenities like BBQ, playgrounds and clean toilets.
