Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

All the beaches in the national park here are lovely, but this place has bigger waves than Lucky Bay, so if that's what you're looking for, you'll enjoy this more.

You can't drive your car on the beach here, but there's lots of parking, and toilets as well. It's only a short walk to the beach. Very busy though!

To see the orange rocks you really need to climb the rocks on the left of the beach, because the orange colour can best be viewed from the other side.

More serenity than Lucky Beach. Very cold water but worth the dip. Lots of car parking and easy access to the beach. There are tables, BBQ and toilets available

My favourite place on a 5 week road trip in WA. Spectacular views at sunset from the rocks, and much quieter than Lucky Bay. Could have spent hours here.

We arrived to Hellfire Bay which was absolutely stunning then did the walk around to Little Hellfire Bay and this beach was even more beautiful. The wildflowers and banksias along the trail were lovely and it was such a beautiful peaceful beach.
Really worth the walk around to this beach from the main one.

Outstanding white sand beach, smaller than Lucky Bay, but more sheltered and with good bbq facilities.

Wow what a beach. It is breathtaking. It’s about a 45 minute drive from the main town of Esperance but definitely worth the drive. It is situated in Le Grand National Park. You pay an entrance fee per car but absolutely worth it as you have a selection of beaches to choose from. The water colour is the best I have ever seen, the coastline simply stunning. The sand is pure white and squeaky under foot.

On Lucky Bay Rd, just in front of Frenchman Peak, begins the paved Hellfire Rd which leads to the beautiful beach of this name. The car park is not very big and the beach is very popular so it is not always easy to park. Going down a few steps you will find the toilets and there are some picnic tables which are in the shade because they are covered. The beach is incredibly beautiful, possibly the most beautiful in Esperance. The water is very transparent and perfect for swimming as the bay is relatively sheltered. It could be called a dream beach if there were no flies that greet you when you get out of the car and keep you company all the time you stay. Perhaps we lacked a more effective repellent. If you solve the problem of flies, this beach is truly a paradise. Definitely worth seeing if you visit the Cape Le Grand National Park.

Bluest of Blue with white sand. Esperance does not fail to impress. Short walk to white sandy beach and beautiful rock formations.
