Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wow what a beach. It is breathtaking. It’s about a 45 minute drive from the main town of Esperance but definitely worth the drive. It is situated in Le Grand National Park. You pay an entrance fee per car but absolutely worth it as you have a selection of beaches to choose from. The water colour is the best I have ever seen, the coastline simply stunning. The sand is pure white and squeaky under foot.

My favourite beach in Cape Le Grand. The colours are amazing and pull you in for a swim.I didnt but my husband did because it was just too beautiful. No 4x4 access which makes it a peaceful gorgoeus bay.Saw people fishing from the rocks too but dont know if they caught anything.Easy access and has picnic areas and toilets.Stunning wildflowers whilst we were there. All the Bays are free once you pay your $15 Park entrance fee per car or better yet get a 1 year park pass and save some money

Really lovely spot. Lots of parking and amenities. When we popped down there was a family with children and couples and some elderly people visiting. Bricked steps leading to beach makes access good for elderly but not suited to wheelchair access.

After reading reviews of Hellfire I put it on the list to visit. First we utilised the gazebo whilst other used the free bbq and long drop toilet. Once we got down on the sand we were met by the stunning beach. Water was so green and blue. It was to cold to swim but the beach was so sheltered and calm. The rocks made for a great viewing platform. My opinion that this beach could be better than Lucky Bay.

I've always thought that Esperance has the best beaches in the world and my numerous overseas trips haven't led me to change my mind.
The jewel in the crown, the best of the best - to my mind - is Hellfire Bay. It's in the Cape Le Grande National Park with the entry virtually opposite the entry to Frenchman Peak.
The beach area has toilets, a bbq and steps leading straight to the beach. Hardly any steps at all which is amazing.
The beach itself has a majestic sweep with rocks at either end although the ones at the far end aren't good for climbing. The sand is white as snow with a texture like icing sugar. And squeaky to walk on. A wonderful feeling.
The walk along the beach isn't arduous and well worth doing. And make sure you clamber over the wonderful rocks at the starting point.
I'm not really a beach person but if I had to design the perfect beach it would look like Hellfire Bay.

No cars on this beach like Lucky Bay, the sand is also alot softer. The water is still cold and its also windy.
Toilet block nearby.
A great escape from the hustle and bustle of Lucky Bay, thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing day here.

This stunning beach is my favorite at Cape Le Grand NP. The scenery with the white sand, the turquoise water and the waves was just amazing that day. It is a beautiful place for walking, swimming and taking photos. There are also toilet facilities and a barbecue and a great place for lunch break.

Hellfire Beach is in Le Grand National Park and it is spectacular. The sand is so white and it squeaks as you walk on it. You can walk the whole bay as it is only small. There are kangaroos in the carpark, toilets and a lovely undercover picnic area. Just beautiful.

This was definitely one of our favourites of the day! We had the beach to ourselves. Climbing the rocks, walking on the beach and beautiful flowers everywhere. Turquoise, clear, clean water & squeaky white sand. Heavenly

Beatiful beach and crystal clear water. When you hit the beach take a walk around the rock's to the left for a beautiful spot to rest. See photo.
