Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After first visiting Lucky Bay, Thistle Cove, and Hellfire Bay, this was disappointing. When we visited the water was brown rather than blue, and didn't look pretty at all. It's also much more exposed than the other beaches. For us it didn't prove being worth the time for the detour to get here.

One of the largest beaches, with access for vehicles to enter Cape de Grand national park. If it was in any other area it would probably get rave reviews, but as it is close to World class spectacular competition it comes off scone best. It also has little shelter when it is windy.

Continuing on Cape le Grand Rd, without turning onto Lucky Bay Rd, you arrive to this large beach. The car park is large and there is also a campground nearby. From the car park it is possible to directly access the beach with a 4WD and it is easy to see a number of vehicles parked on the beach with the owners lying nearby on the beach towel. Moreover, from this beach you can drive on the sand for 22 km towards Esperance. The beach is white and beautiful, but it is not protected so it can be windy and there may be waves breaking. In the southernmost tip of the beach there were areas covered by dry Posidonia leaves. A pristine long beach with the transparent and blue sea which, in our opinion, is less beautiful than Hellfire Bay, Lucky Bay or Thistle Cove.

Pay the park fees and take the drive down to the end of CapeLe Grand Road. You can fish off the beach, you can drive on it so long as you are careful, and in season you can camp down here. But the drive and the view are worth it.

Pure white sand as far as the eye can see and totally unspoilt stretch of ocean yet another stunning location.

We didn't swim at this lovely beach just dropped by for a visit.

There is a campsite right by the beach and cars can also drive on this beach.

Quite an open beach and still windy and cold like the others.

Last stop on our Cape Le Grand day out and she didnt disappoint.Pristine beaches and sand that go on for miles.Accessible x 4 x 4 but unfortunately there were guys on quads and motorbikes flying up the beach which was a pain but everyone has their own fun. There is a small camping area that can take caravans and tents and has toilets and showers,Sweet spot and I would use in next time we go.You can use the beach to head back into town the 22kms to Whylies beach which comes out at the boat Harbour.I think it is tide dependent so please check.Stunning spot

Was expecting clear blue waters, but it was seaweed and other leaves washed up in the water. Wasn't as nice compared to the other beaches in the area.

I will never forget the drive here, white sand and blue sea what more do you want. We had a Ranger so the drive was fine....I think a 4x4 or pick up would be sensible. We drove for a few miles and turned back but this goes on for a while.

didn't see many people here and those we did see didn't stay very long. The beach is more exposed than Hellfire and Lucky, however a very pleasant walk on the beach, and for us, we also had the good fortune to watch gannets diving for fish. Thoroughly enjoyable location.
