Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Handy to have if you want information on trails etc but it’s basically an overpriced gift shop with a few bits and bobs here and there including digital information to sweeten people into the idea of Dwellingup becoming a mining town. I bought a post card..

A nice flashy building that seems to have been assisted by the main industry in the area. However, not a lot of tactile assets, more of the touch screen stuff, which unfortunately appears to be the direction that most places are going. The local history story now appears to be replaced by walking and cycle interests. Not as good as the previous set-up which had lots more items on display.

We were attracted by the new building, opened a few months ago. The staff were very friendly and showed a few of us how to use the virtual reality headset to learn about the trails.
It's equipped with toilets and showers, something hikers would look for. Dwellingup indeed is a hikers town.

A small information centre but it had a bit of everything and we found it interesting to wander around and see some of the old artefacts they had on display. There is also a little gift shop selling local items and souvenirs

We stopped here to get some info regarding the local walks etc. Took her 20 min just to tell us how to get out of town by scribbling all over her local map which only covered about 4 streets.
Then she remembered that she had a wall of other maps that she could have used...
At least we did find out that most of the local walks start down dirt roads (which we are not allowed on with our rental car).
Nice drive diwn here but unfortunately a total waste of time.
Maps need to show if they are dirt before planning out day out.
I'd suggest you go to the wall of maps yourself and work out what you want to do yourself.
Some good local information inside though.

Just ducked in to enquire about the trains.
Hope the upgrade goes well - this area has so much potential.
This could be every bit as good as the Don River Railway (Tasmania) with all the working lines and railways.
