If you like old architecture that you will absolutely fall in love with this place. Very unique styling. Just be careful not to arrive the same day as a wedding or a function or you might find yourself locked out and a wasted journey

Montsalvat ...... what can I say. Just love love loved it. What an amazing place. Buildings are unbelievable so old and quaint, incredible structures. Setting is gorgeous absolutely enjoyed our walk around the grounds. Totally worth the visit.

To the best of my knowledge, the main "baronial hall" had several buffalo roasting size fireplaces which obviously were used. Apart from that, no, I did not see any other heating.
