Al fresco lunch with family and friends
Visited for lunch today. 7 adults and a 2 year old child. We ordered a few grazing boards and several bottles of wine. Wow, so good. Great playing area for children including hay bales and a cubby house. Gorgeous food and wine.
Dear Jochg2016, Thank you for your feedback, I am so glad you enjoyed your time here at cellar door and we hope to see you back again soon to enjoy the wine, food and view. Kind regards

A wonderful small winery. A sampling of nine lovely wines enjoyed by our entire group of four. Enjoyed a long, leisurely lunch of savory pies and hotpot’s in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend to anyone touring the Barossa. Visiting from Canada.
Dear Nonie1958, Thank you for your wonderful feedback, We are so glad you enjoyed your time here at cellar door. We hope to see you back in cellar door on your next trip to the Barossa. Kind regards

    Gorgeous location & wines
We visited after a referral - Pindarie has a beautiful cellar door in old stables and the surrounding views are gorgeous just like the wines. We were fortunate enough to be hosted by the manager Stuart himself who was brilliant. Pindarie have some different varieties in their range like Tempranillo, Sangiovese and Montepulciano. Highly recommended.
Dear BigDogTravels, Thank you so much for your feedback. We are so glad you enjoyed your time here at cellar door. We pride ourselves on our wines and of course customer service as we are passionate in what we do. We hope to see you back again soon to enjoy the wines and another tasting experience with Stuart. Kind regards

    A must to visit.
A must place to visit. The food was fantastic, we had the shared platter, and the quality of the food was great as to was the wine. The location was lovely and the views stunning with the history of the Winery and the work that went into creating a simply great place. A special mention to the staff as they are very helpful and know so much about the Pindarie Winery. It was my wife's Birthday and our first visit but definitely not our last. Thanks again for a great lunch.
Dear Tania, Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback, we are so glad you enjoyed all aspects of your visit here at Pindarie and we will continue to provide great wines, food and service and hope to see you back again soon. Kind regards

We absolutely love the buildings, views and wine at Pindarie but it's a shame that there is only ever one vegetarian option on the menu. We just arrived for lunch hoping to have the vegetarian pie but it's now not on the menu and there is only a lentil stew. Such a shame that us veggos don't have a couple of options for lunch.

Dear Grace449, Thank you for your feedback, We do have more than one vegetarian option on our menu however. We have our spiced lentil and vegetable hotpot, our pear and pecan salad and our shearing board platter which can be made vegetarian as well. We only have 5 main meal items on our menu, as we our a cellar door and over half of them are vegetarian. Unfortunately the vegetarian pie was removed from the menu as we already have a lot of pastry items. Kind regards

Everything was "the best part". Scenery, ambience, service, wine, the pie!! We were fortunate enough to be the only people there, at the end of a day driving around to different wineries. Wouldn't have known it was there if not for a recommendation from our host at Enerby Farm Cottage (thanks for the tip Tom). We went back again the next day to have another pie, but unfortunately, the kitchen had already closed. Never mind, we tasted some wine and bought a bottle to take back to our accomodation. This place was definitely one of our favourites!!

A fleeting trip just for lunch (no time for tasting) but we liked what we saw. It felt like being invited onto a private station with a gorgeous homestead and just making yourself right at home under the verandah or in the grounds. Everyone there looked 110% relaxed.

Their clever limited pie-focussed menu is all you really need but we would say whilst the pastry was moreish, it actually needed MORE filling to make it a really good pie. It felt pretty empty actually. And the accompanying salad felt a bit ‘flat’. It read well on the menu but didn’t present as well on the plate.

Lovely rosé, lovely atmosphere, lovely place to return to at some later stage but I just hope we don’t end up at the table positioned right on top of the doorway again, as that was a seriously silly place to having dining customers with everyone coming and going.

Hello LisaMDL thank you for your review on our premises and outlook. Sorry to hear you thought the pie filling was light on....we very rarely get complaints about our pies, they are hand made on site using locally made Careme pastry. The filling is a slow cooked casserole and each portion is weighed for every pie to be the same and full! Anymore filling and it spills out everywhere making a mess. Our staff constantly check our customers feedback and the salad is fresh and simple but tasty as many say. I agree with you on where the table was seated and we have looked into that for future. so appreciate the feedback here. In summary all the best and hope you return some day and share your views with us in person, we would welcome your visit. kind regards Wendy

Wine tasting in the Barossa is a favourite pastime of ours and we called into this little gem for wine tasting and a platter and it lived up to its reputation. Wines were great and the platter was large, fresh and tasty and didn’t disappoint. Saw another table order some of their gourmet pies and we couldn’t resist trying one. Ordered the lamb pies and all I can say is WOW we will be back. By the way the view is also stunning, its a great place to sit and watch the world go by with great food and wine.

Stopped by for lunch during our day trip to the Barossa. Booked in advance and table ready on our arrival. Opted for an inside table but in retrospect an outside table (all in shade) would have been preferable given the amazing views. We went (as we usually do) for a local share platter and it did not disappoint. Great selection of cheeses and meats. Olive oil and dukka, olives et al. Plenty of warm bread and crackers. The only addition I would suggest is a small amount of butter to go with the bread. Nice selection of wines and soft drinks, friendly staff and reasonable price. Plenty of outdoor space (including stacked bales of hay!) for young and old to enjoy and expansive views.
