Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

All the Lutheran Churches in Tanunda were interesting but this one had some additional character. Maybe it was the cemetery with old gravestones with German names that dated back one hundred or so years and inscriptions in German, maybe some thing else. The pine lined path to the slim stone church was also different. This church is one of the more significant because of its association with Pastor Kavel, the first to arrive in 1838. Near the center of the cemetery is a monument to Kavel which I missed.

Some people go to the Barossa Valley to visit the wineries. A few of us go to visit the churches, of which there are many. These are mostly shut during the week for security reasons, but Langmeil has an office which is open from 9 till 1, and on request we are able to go inside. We really enjoy our visit, with the large organ and stained glass windows. The church faces out onto a large cemetery. One of the graves tells of German pastor Kavel who brought his whole congregation out to the Valley. Parking and access are easy.

One of the oldest Lutheran congregations in Australia and a church that is worth visiting inside and out. Offers a large car park at front of building on Jane Place.

I loved the mature hedges acting as a natural barrier.
