We just had the most lovely hour of wine tasting, by informed, friendly staff in the characterful building at Langmeil. So maybe we got lucky with two friendly and warm staff who take care to ensure that when leave their tasting you e enjoyed exquisite wines and the whole experience.

We stayed at the Langmeil Cottages for a holiday whilst visiting the Barossa Valley. Langmeil had some amazing wines and we ended up buying some to bring back home with us to NZ. Their vinyard was also really lovely.

What a gem! Don't miss this one, what a beautiful winery. We were welcomed into the cellar door and treated to wine tasting at our own pace. A step back in time to this historic gem.

A gorgeous old cellar door, worth visit just for the historic buildings. On a chilly winter day, being greeted with friendly smiles and a warm fire was wonderful. They do seated tastings which are free, have quite a range of wines and excellent knowledgeable staff.

having recently tried some of their wine at a restaurant we decided to visit, we were looked after by the friendly staff and tasted most of their wines, with some of the limited wines available on this occasion. It was a relaxing experience with a lot of knowledge available from the staff on hand. we would definitely go back again. we also had a wander around the well presented grounds and historic buildings.

You’ll receive a lovely welcome by the staff here. Surprised that it was complimentary tasting but the wine was so good we bought two bottles. The white port is delicious so we bought a bottle of that too.
We sat outside on the terrace with views of the beautiful gardens. The sound of the forklift moving in the yard added to the experience of a working vineyard.
This place isn’t pretentious and I would highly recommend a visit.

Beautiful gardens that are well maintained that lead to the tasting room. We were just walk-ins but if there’s a group of you it’s good to book ahead. Delightful wines starting from Reisling thru to your serious Cabernets. We left with lighter wallets. Bonus is free shipping over a certain amount.

This place was amazing, beautiful historic buildings (including a blacksmiths and former bakery and butcher) and unique 180 year old vines. We did the extensive Freedom Experience and guide was incredibly knowledgeable, tasting was wonderful (and generous), it was just fascinating to learn the rich history of the region and the farm itself.
