Langmeil Winery offers guests a relaxing friendly place to visit. The gardens are beautiful and child friendly. Ample tables and chairs to enjoy some yummy wines with a cheese platter of local produce (or take it with you) from the lovely staff at Cellar Door. Special premium wine tastings for $50 a person (bookings essential) in the Freedom Cellar and if the weather permits a vineyard tour also, showcasing old gnarly Shiraz vines believed to be the oldest in the world. The old Blacksmiths workshop and stables speak the history of ye ole Langmeil Village - one of the first settlements in the Barossa. There is something for everyone at Langmeil Winery.

My husband and I had a very pleasant wine tasting experience at Lang meal winery. Very pleasant staff and knowledgeable. We left with 2 bottles of expensive delicious wines.

It was a special holiday for us. We decided to visit two wineries we had not been to before and taste wine we did not know. Langmeil was recommended by locals. It proved to be a very pleasant experience...interesting range of wine...very friendly and informative staff....excellent service. Nice to discover the Blacksmith Cab Sav ( now an addition to our... Great wine, knowledgeable staff and a great historic story. There is a hop on, hop off bus that stops here...I didn't see the sign at any of the other wineries but thought it was a great idea. Like all the wineries, it was fairly busy, but the staff were still very welcoming. Great photos of the history of the winery.... More

Great wine, history, beautiful setting. Put on top of the list of wineries to visit. The friendly staff are exceptionally experienced, passionate about wine and the Barossa.

We arrived as the last stop after a day's wine tasting. The 3 girls working in the tasting room were exceptional, knowledgable, friendly and very professional. The Rose was a highlight, it's a must to try. It was 40+ degrees outside and the ladies allowed me to cool off in the cold room while feeding me and providing wine. Highly... More

Located next to peter Lehman winery it's a really lovely smaller winery. Wines are really nice, we were on limited time but enjoyed our time there and the staff were great.

Absolutely incredible 125 year old winery, settled by Lutheran people who came to escape European persecution. The wines are fantastic served by very informative friendly staff.

An excellent winery, very traditional. Their 'Blacksmith' red and Bella Rouge rose` were my favourites. Beautiful setting. Visiting this winery is a very enjoyable experience.

Highly recommend a tasting at Langmeil! We had such a wonderful experience tasting and learning about the various wine varieties and walked away with a few bottles of our favorites and a cheese box to enjoy our wine with. A must do!
