The shop is well displayed with great giftware

Great to have a wine cellar right in Penola! Wine tasting combined with a lovely gift shop - this is well worth a visit. The wines are really good as well. I would highly recommend.

My Wife and I called in at Koonara Wines in main Road, Penola.
What a refreshing Man is Dru Reschke. His knowledge of wines, and vines is outstanding, and a great guy to talk to.
He does not use pesticides on his property.
He also has an interesting showroom full of wonderfull gifts, and homewares.
A great place to visit, do not miss it if travelling thtough Penola

Right in the Main Street of Penola. Lovely store and nice wine selection from their winery. Well worth a visit.

The cellar door is in Penola and doubles as a homewares/gift shop. Lots to look at. Really friendly cellar staff and a great range of wines.

We went for a walk in town and came across this winery tasting place. We actually went in to look at the extras in the store but couldn’t help pulling up a seat and tasting some wine.
Now, if you don’t have a lot of time and just passing through Penola town just stop! Stop and experience this wine.
The wine is at a level all of its own. From bubbles to red that will make you smile, to amazing glassware and yummy chocolates you will not be disappointed for stopping.
Jen made us feel super welcome with her energy and knowledge that rivalled many wineries we have been to.
We have been to most wine regions in Australia from Margaret river to Tasmania to Victoria and everything in between including Canberra (yes they have wine) but we would say this is up as one of the favourites.
We even signed up to the wine club! Please just stop and relax at this gorgeous place

Great organic wines and awesome home-wares. Centrally located on Main Street of Penola.

My husband enjoyed tasting and purchased a lovely Shiraz to share for our next social get together whilst I browsed the store for gifts. I found something for everyone both daughters, granddaughters and myself. Love the natural products “Murphy and daughters” orange lip balm and “Mangrove magic bite balm, Tilley soaps and Euroscrubby kitchen sponges.
