About
Full private day tours of South Australian wine regions, incl Barossa, Clare, Hills and McLaren Vale. An amazing tour experience, hosted by a Barossa Valley vigneron.Ideal for groups but we take couples as well. When in Barossa, get to learn how to prune or pick grapes (season permitting) see the Roenfeldt Hill vineyard and its Corkscrew Method vines. Your host, Wayne, loves to cook you a gourmet lunch or dinner at his vineyard too. It is quite unique in the world to be able to tour a premier wine region with an award winning winemaker who has strong culinary skills as well.

Wayne was an excellent host. Good communication throughout with a personalised tour. Detailed knowledge of wine and the local area. Good selection of cellar doors. Wayne built good rapport with the group easily and was pleasant throughout. Would recommend to friends in the region.

Perfect way to celebrate mine and my partner Kelly's engagement!

Wayne was great from start to finish ! we enjoyed a delicious morning tea prepped by Wayne with a surprise tasting of his own wine!! we visited some lovely Wineries. Wayne also was very informative with extensive knowledge of the region and and answered all questions asked... We had a comfortable safe van with sheepskin covers for comfort and onboard entertainment which was a hoot!! We will certainly be returning and calling on Wayne . Deb from Victoria

Wayne was a great host. Puts a lot of energy into his offerings with some home made touches to boot. Bring a wine maker himself was handy. We were a group of 8 and were thoroughly entertained for the day. Would recommend to anyone

Our group of 4 friends had a fantastic wine tour with Wayne from Be Consumed Tours. Wayne, a winemaker himself, was really informative about the area & also the wineries. We visited a variety of wineries from which we could choose. From the Majestic Chateau Yaldara, where we had the added bonus of a tour of its century old cellar. To a small family run winery with a hilarious owner who also had great wines. To wineries still using traditional methods. We were also able to speak with wine makers & watch grapes being pressed. We finished a great day at the Glenorchy Brewing Company. All up a fantastic tour that I would recommend to anyone wanting a wine tour in the Barossa Valley.

Wayne was a lovely guide with great knowledge of the wine making process as he is also a wine maker. If you're lucky he will let you taste his collection which includes a world first blend.

Wayne built an itinerary for our private tour around my somewhat specific requirements, and the end result was a very enjoyable day in the Barossa Valley.

Not only did we have some terrific tastings at a number of vineyards, we also had a lot of sightseeing built into the experience. Wayne brings a vast knowledge to his tours of both the Barossa's history and winemaking, so very interesting commentary along the way.

Then at the end he arranged shipment back to NSW for our purchases, which was a very helpful additional service.

What a wonderful day we had! Wayne was helpful, a friendly chap, very accomodating and brought us safely to the most beautiful wineries. A nice stop for morning tea under the gumtrees with more great wines. The bus was comfortable, with three older people amongst our group he was helping to get them in and out of the bus. We would highly recommend Wayne, a professional with more than 10 years of experience, and that shows!

Wayne is a passionate, knowledgeable and generous host. Highly recommended.
Nothing was too much trouble - communication pre-tour was great with lots of options provided.
We were travelling from Adelaide and Wayne regailed us with some local history on the drive - perfect way to pass the time. We detoured to the Whispering Wall which is well worth a pit stop and then slid into Chateau Yalandra for our first tasting, away from the other groups in a private room, followed by a walk through the private underground cellar. Afterwards we enjoyed some of Wayne's own wines (the ZSGM is incredible) accompanied with cheeses, sausage rolls from a local bakery and home made condiments- All in the shade by a river.
This essentially set the tone for the trip - we were never rushed, there were thoughtful details scattered throughout the day and Wayne kept our interest the whole way whether via the excellent wineries selected, the stories and info enroute and the bus karaoke on the way back.
Thank you Wayne - you are a fantastic host!
We highly recommend touring with Wayne and look forward to touring the McLaren with him when we find our way back to South Australia.

My wife and I have done several Wine Tours over the years. The Be Consumed Tour was excellent. We went to quite a few wineries and all of them were excellent. What my wife and I really appreciated was how Wayne explained all about the cultivation and growing of wines. All very interesting. Wayne had a family involvement in wine growing. The pace of the tour was not rushed and there were ample rest stops to enjoy morning tea etc. and especially under the shade next to a running creek.
Wayne's knowledge of the area was excellent. Our lunch was the perfect match for a wine tour.
Again thank you Wayne for an excellent day and we have no hesitation your services.
