Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One of my wedding couples is getting married in the Barossa and they LOVE trains, so perfect place for some photos for them with the big old steam train. Such a spacious park too for private parties. I have face painted here many times. Facilities are always clean too which is nice. Even a skate park for the teens!

Linear Park is a beautiful spot in the heart of Nuriootpa with tranquil walk ways thru nicely maintained parklands with benches and tables for family picnics and a place for kids to show their skills to ride bicycles and skate boards plus there is an old steam engine that would entice any mechanical minded person (young or old) to investigate :D

After buying the ingredients for lunch at Maggie Beer's farm shop and a few other local businesses we chose this park for a nice picnic. Plenty of parking and tables under the trees in the shade. A big park with playground equipment and an old train. Good clean toilets too. Conveniently across the road from a few take away places too.

Totally agree with the other reviews... but also for those who really like to stretch those legs, the walking trails extend along the North Para river in both directions. From the park with the toilets and train- pic 1- cross the road to the NE and a trail continues along the river at the back of the shops. Continue over another road NE and you will come across the Bush gardens and a little further, another playground. Do a circuit back around the caravan park boundary.
