Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a grab on your hard earned holiday money. It’s small. Not that vast as far as a Maze goes and I feel is very much over priced at $15.00 for and adult. Oh, if you visit Martindale Hall you get $1.00 off an adult ticket. And by the way Martindale Hall is the same price and is absolutely fabulous.

A lazy offering with a few connected rows of a poor old dying hedge. It appears to have very little effort/knowledge put in to restoring it. We shook our heads in despair and walked out.

At $15 per adult, $8 per child I'm struggling to see how the prices can be justified.

The Mintaro Maze was fun for the kids. Cost $46 for a family of four to enter which I thought was a bit too much for what it offered. Looks like half the maze has either died or been removed as half of it is now decorative rustic steel panels which you can go under or see through. They supplied a little questionnaire for fact finding when walking around the maze which kept it entertaining for the kids. Overall easy to find and fun for all...

Blown away… with how expensive it was. Don’t take a family of 5 unless you want to watch your money burn in front of your eyes, been to a lot of fantastic mazes and this is worth a tenth of what they charge. Wouldn’t be fussed if I got a lifetime ban.

A little disappointed with our visit to the maze.
I was unable to participate in the maze itself as I was under the weather but the rest of my family and friends did it.
They made me wait outside in another area on my own while the rest of my group finished the maze and then had fun in the garden surrounding it after.
I was not even allowed in the garden area to wait. Instead sat out near the car park on my own.
I think the system needs a bit of tweaking for those who may not want to do the maze but have visited with other friends/family who do.
We were going to stay for coffee and icecream after but decided against it.

Basic. Not much activity. Aside from walking and few board games.
Overprice... Yes. $15 adult 16yrs old over. 15yrs old under $8. Maybe if its $8 and $5 its ok.

In my opinion. Once its enough for a lifetime tour. Just to say we went there. Thats all.

Do yourself a favour, when in Clare Valley visit Mintaro Maze.
Great place for all the family with the maze and lots of other fun puzzles and games to challenge yourself. On site cafe offers a good range of food and drinks.

The maze is pretty and the games near the cafe were fun for a time. Overall though I couldn’t get past the price of $15 for an adult and $8 for a child. I understand upkeep etc but for what you pay for it feels steep.

This was a pretty cool place . The maze is cool , and all the games outside the maze create some entertainment. Coffee was good !
However I wouldn’t recommend it for children under 4yrs of age.
Definitely recommend for ages 5 and up
