About
Established in 1998, Reef Encounters is the longest-serving full-time fishing charter operator in the Marion Bay area. As a multi award winning and tourism accredited business, we pride ourselves on delivering a high quality experience for all. Operating out of Pondalowie Bay in Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park, the Southern-most tip of the Yorke Peninsula, we have access to world class locations right on our doorstep. The daily catch may consist of Snapper, Nannygai, Southern Bluefin Tuna, King George Whiting, Sharks, Blue Morwong, Groper, Samsonfish, Trevally, Harlequin, Yellowtail Kingfish and more. With multipe tour offerings operating seven days a week, a great variety of fish to target, and an experienced skipper and deckhand on board at all times, Reef Encounters delivers an unmatched charter experience. Fully customised tours are also available which can include coastal and island cruises.

Ryan and Liam gave us a great day, more tuna than we could count, all under very rough conditions, none of us certainly had ever been out in waves that big. The boat ,skipper and deckhand were excellent.

We enjoyed our trip considering the rough weather we endured, would definitely love to come out again possibly stay for couple day adventure at cabins next time around

We had 12 of us and we all caught heaps of big fish and landed 5 tuna onto the boat.
The accommodation suited our needs and Ryan and Nadine were very helpful in organising our whole trip.
