Their saying of " The Taste of Happiness" sums up our experience.

From the moment we walked through the door we were treated with great service. The journey through the tasing experience showed the love that the Kies Family put into their wines. I was not disappointed by any I tasted and to my surprise the very reasonable postage to Brisbane let me purchase all of the ones I liked. Normally I would be limited to a bottle or two. I will be utilising their on line ordering so I can continue to experience Kies Family products.

Relaxed, traditional family friendly winery with amazing wine! :-)

This was a wonderful family winery, my extended family and I were made to feel extremely welcome, especially the kids with their own cordial in little kiddy wine glasses and the winery was very nicely set up with a beautiful outdoor area that allowed the kids to play outside whilst we tasted the incredible wine!! Jesse was a lovely host and I could not more highly recommend putting this location on your bucket list!! :-) Get to the Barossa and experience this authentic and traditional winery that demonstrates one of the few remaining that take you back in time multiple generations!

Quick visit to Kies Winery on the way home.

I had driven past this winery a number of times and was intrigued by the beckoning sign “Bulk Port”. I finally had the opportunity to drop in and was pleasantly surprise by the cosy and inviting cellar door space.

I was surprised at the variety of the product range but stuck to my plan of trying the fortified collection which did not disappoint. I decided on 5 litres of white muscat which will go into my little oak barrel for further maturation.

I also bought a bottle of the Generations Tawny and the Monkey Nut Tree Merlot which are tasting brilliant!

This is a family run place and everybody puts out a warm welcome with a friendly smile.

I definitely recommend Kies Winery and will visit again to sample more of the range and perhaps stay for a bite to eat.

We are very spoilt to be within walking distance of this family owned winery. Visiting Kies feels like a holiday even though we’re local! Staff are amazingly friendly and are hospitality superstars. We had the shared platter on our recent visit which had a great selection of great nibbles. The wines aren’t bad either!

We stopped in for morning tea at Monkey Nut Cafe, fresh scones and coffee, lovely. Very nice wines, small family owned winery with loads of history told in a fun chat with Sam. Highly recommend.
