About
In Kalleske Cellar Door you will be able to taste our current range of wines and hear all about the history behind the Kalleske vines. Cheese platters of local Barossa produce are available to purchase and can be enjoyed on a picnic blanket on the lawn or in our cozy cellar door. Or why not try a self guided food and wine flight where each local produce is paired with a Kalleske wine. Out the back you can find games like Quoits to entertain the kids whilst being surround by a beautiful garden. Come enjoy our wines and learn the rich history that went into making them. In South Australia's Barossa Valley, the Kalleske family have been farming and growing grapes since 1853 near the village of Greenock. They are one of the region's leading grape-growing families consistently growing some of the Barossa's best quality grapes. After six generations of growing grapes, winemaker and seventh generation family member, Troy Kalleske, together with his brother Tony, established the Kalleske winery and made the first 'Kalleske' wine. The vineyard is low yielding with grapes grown organically and biodynamically and the winery is also certified biodynamic/organic. The Kalleske family are active practitioners of sustainable farming. They are caretakers of the land and not only want to maintain the environment but improve it for future generations. All Kalleske wines are estate grown and vinified with minimalist winemaking techniques used to fully capture the essence of the vineyard allowing genuine handmade estate wines to be produced. The range is a diverse mix of wines that showcases the splendid Kalleske grapes. Wines from Kalleske have been seven generations in the making, but they are certainly worth the wait!

Highly recommend the Kalleske Vineyard Winery Experience, great way to spend a few hours. Followed up with a platter and glass sitting in beautiful garden.

Best wine tasting experience we had in the Barossa, very reasonable for 10 dollars and actual tasting pours unlike at other vineyards that barely gave you a sip which didn't allow you to have multiple tastes, would highly recommend anyone going to the barossa

We did the wine tasting here with Amber and LOVED it. It’s a beautiful venue with great history and incredible wine. So glad we came here, it was easily the highlight of our trip to the Barossa.

A excellent wine tasting with platter hosted with skill & attention by Sarah. Wide selection of wines & generous tastings. Lovely venue but a bit noisy with a inconsiderate group in front room.

We did a short wine tasting at the bar and both found a bottle we liked which we enjoyed drinking later with dinner in our cottage accommodation.

Greenock is a great village. Kalleske is definitely worth a visit. We had the red tasting flight which was good value for $10. Wines are good quality at fair prices. Friendly service.

I travelled to Barrossa for a weekend with a group of 8 people. We were running late for our booking and there were no cabs available and Dana came to collect us from Tanunda which is not a service they typically offer!! We were so grateful to be able to go to Kalleske's. The white wine and rose in particular was my favourite in the Barossa and we all hung out in the beautiful garden after our tasting. Dana and her brother were super knowledable and professional and gave us the warmest welcome. I will be back and highly recommend everyone goes there!

A group of 8 of us finally made it to the Barossa from WA for a wine club trip that had been 2 yrs in the planning.
Kalleske was a great experience.
From the fun of our blind tasting wine flight to the delicious food, our time spent was informative, well presented and a very enjoyable afternoon. Our host was knowledgeable, warm and welcoming. Really enjoyed this venue.

This one of the nicest cellar doors in the Barossa. Sarah did a fantastic job looking after us and several others tasting at the same time. We stayed on after the tasting for a platter and glass of the old vine Grenache - both excellent! The platter was generous and consisted of local produce.
Great wines, great service, great experience!

Lovely cellar door! An outside eating and drinking area at the back which looked nice too. Nice staff. But the wines are amazing! Definetly make this a stop. Delicious! We'll be back! Yum!
