Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were walking through Burra and stopped in. The gallery is small and the art on display was average. Nice building and friendly volunteer. We made a small donation and left. Pop in but don’t make a special trip.

I am an artist exhibiting at this Gallery.. they are one of the friendliest regional galleries I know. They can’t do enough for the artist and the viewer. Lovely building, tasteful craft pieces. Professional in the way they prepare exhibitions interesting and varied exhibitions through the year.

Surprised by seeing “The Shack” exhibition being set up for Opening Day!
Kerry and Maria gave us a close up of the representation and creation of sea creatures. And, demonstrated Augmented Reality by using digital reality to provide an extension, to their interesting exhibit!
Time, dry well spent!

This gallery is an authentic local art gallery, which appears to be enthusiastically and effectively managed by a group of volunteers.

It’s easy to visit - located in a heritage building in the main street of Burra, and entry is free of charge.

They have a series of exhibitions throughout the year, and it would be a good idea to check their website and social media for details of events.

I thought they had an intelligently curated and professional presentation of works, as well as a friendly shop with an array of souvenirs.

Well worth a visit when you’re in the area.

Was lucky enough to attend the opening of Maria's exhibition. This gallery has a lovely space to showcase exciting artists like Maria. Congratulations to all involved.

So popular that I believe they have artists lined up for over 18 months wanting to use this space.

This is a beautiful gallery. The building itself is interesting. The gallery is very well organized with quality art work. I would recommend anyone visiting the area to pop in for a look.
