Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We did not eat this time - only bought some plants from the nursery. The café has been extended since our last visit making it an excellent place for a lunch or afternoon tea. Of course, the other attractions are there to tempt you. Friendly owners, too.

Great little location for a round of mini golf on a sunny day! Lots of other options for eating, purchasing local produce as well! Well worth the visit.

Went for a drive wanting to check out their mini golf course.
We had lunch at the cafe sitting outside, such a lovely spot. Serves basics meals including pizza, hot dogs etc. Great selection of drinks and icecreams on offer. Gift shop with local produce also.
The mini golf was very reasonably priced at $7 ($10 but $3 returned when club is brought back). Cheapest mini golf around. Holes didnt look much but very challenging, some very frustrating ones especially towards the end. Requires some good skill.
Staff very friendly and site very clean, great spot sitting outside with lots of shade whilst eating or having a round of golf.

Good was very nice despite the wait. The mini golf course is brilliant, the family had a great time and we will definitely make the drive back to play again!

On the way from Clare to Burra or from Burra to Clare and yes we may have been a little lost, we found what turned out to be a delightful stop over that please both my wife and I in different ways. Let me explain.
My wife is an avid gardener and was attracted to what may have been the only sign within 100 KM, a sign stating ‘Nursery’. We decided to pull over as they also advertised food and drink and when we meandered into the garden nursery section we were soon greeted by a friendly woman who enquired if we required any help at this point, to which we answered no but did ask about getting some food. We were surprised when she answered in the affirmative because there was a smaller sign which said no food after 2pm and it was 3pm. She suggested we place our orders and then come back out to the nursery to look around, which we did.
I had an exquisite set of 3 dips with heated bread to dip into it. The bread was lovely too and not what you would usually expect which made it so much nicer. My wife had a beef and red wine pie which she also found to be yummy. Perhaps it was because we were starving or perhaps because it was different, yummy and not expected in this neck of the woods.
The store had all sorts of things to buy. Many of them were knickknacks, some local honey, paintings and much more. There was a mini golf course for the kids and grownups alike which looked like it was in 1st rate condition. A sign on the wall advertised children’s parties and I would imagine the mini golf would be a big hit.
Simpson Rices Creek was a bit hit for us too and we recommend it to anyone who is in the area looking for rest and refreshment.

As locals we love to visit places where we can have a great time as a family
We have enjoyed playing mini golf here on different occasions
We have great memories of times with our kids and we intend to return
We also have purchased some plants for our garden from the nursery as well
If you are in the Clare Valley drop in for a game of minigolf and something to eat
We had a great time on our last visit and intend to return
highly recommended
