About
Mount Horrocks Wines restricts production to approximately 3,500 cases per annum to achieve the highest quality single vineyard wines. All three estate-owned Clare Valley vineyards, are 100% certified Australian Organic and vegan and vegetarian friendly. Stephanie carefully crafts "essentially hand-made food wines with emphasis on structure as well as generous fruit flavours". Only estate grown grapes are used and these are hand-picked and gently handled under conditions that ensure the varietal and site-specific flavours in the resultant wine, as well as its organic status, are retained. As no finings have been found necessary the wines are all suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Only the finest French oak barriques are used for those wines spending time in barrel. The seven wines produced each year are: Mount Horrocks Riesling, Semillon, Rose, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Nero d'Avola and Cordon Cut Riesling.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

So charming! Gorgeous setting, gorgeous interaction with the cellar door manager and gorgeous wines. The ‘hits’ were the semillon and the Cordon Cut dessert wine. A very very professional tasting experience and our order turned up in Adelaide, beautifully presented, only a couple of days later. Would highly recommend.

One of my most favorite dessert wines in Australia with its Cellar Door in the loving restored old Auburn Railway Station.
Certified Organic, small case lots of premium wines. Beautiful surroundings, local art works and friendly staff within walking distance of the town.

This winery is endearing from the time you drive in. It's in a lovely old building in a beautiful location. The staff were wonderfully helpful and the wine was delicious!

A lovely spot in the renovated old railway station to taste in our opinion the BEST wines in the clare valley!
Jen the lovely and engaging lady running the tasting added to the enjoyment of the whole experience with her knowledge, passion for the wines and general sense of humour.

This lovely winery is set in the old train station that has been lovingly restored. Arrived late on a Sunday afternoon, but our server was extremely pleasant.
All the wines tasted were first-class - not one we didn't enjoy, so much so we bought one of each. For those who love good wine, this is a must-stop

We made a quick stop at this winery, which is just down the road from Grosset. With the wine maker in attendance, made the tasting experience enjoyable. The tasting room is in the old railway station. The gardens are alive with blossoms and the weather was perfect. This is a great stop for those visiting the Clare Valley, as Auburn is on of the first town as you travel from Adelaide.
