Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place was spectacular. Loved the internal design and furniture. Such a beautiful space in a gorgeous setting. The wines were delicious and Gavyn was very helpful and informative. I was part of a big group on a tour and we accidentally forgot some of our wine but Lambert Estate made sure I had it in my hands The very next day which was just amazing. The platters were just scrumptious. I highly recommend this experience! Thank you

Dropped into this family winery following a recommendation of a local we meet in town. Couldn't have been happier. Over lunch our group enjoyed Lambert's range of red & white wines. Everyone loved these & the choc port, the lunch (pizzas, haloumi, salads etc.) and the fantastic and engaging service. Having some past experience with a family restaurant I can understand how important these dynamics are. The atmosphere upstairs and the view over the wineries was as good as it gets. Had a brilliant chat with the CTO (chief tasting officer) who explained who the family was and the company's vision. Will definitely return on our next visit to the Barossa valley.

We came to this winery as part of a day trip in the Barossa Via a bus company. Often, these trips that are organised take you to 2nd right places, but I thought this place was absolutely first right. Amazing premises that have been billed obviously for functions. Also restaurant, and wine tastings. It’s an absolutely stunning place. We enjoyed the wines , But enjoyed our lunch even better. No chips, schnitzel and chips on this bus tour. We had the most amazing food. It was absolutely stunning, and the presentation was the first rate would definitely go back to this place again and it be a wonderful place for a wedding or some big function.

No runs scored here on the stone oven pizzas!
We ordered 2 pizzas - garlic prawn and confit duck - at $30 each. What we got were 2 small pizzas with 6 slices each and barely any topping.
Now, I know in true Italian style regarding pizzas, less is more. But that applies to the amount of ingredients - not the generosity of those ingredients!
It was like playing "Where's Wally" - where's the duck? where are the prawns? One shrivelled piece of protein per slice of pizza? You've got to be kidding. You should be EMBARRASSED to serve these pizzas and have the nerve to charge $30 for each of them!
Nor was there a hint of the lighthouse blue cheese on the 'barely there' duck pizza.
We were underwhelmed to say the least and felt totally ripped off.
Would not recommend nor ever return.
Good points: Staff extremely professional, friendly and efficient and the views of the estate are spectacular.
PS: Regarding those faded, twisted international flags you have flying out on the deck not only are they hideous and ruining the incredible view, they're very 1970's. Get rid of them.

Very nice lunch with wine pairing. We visited as part of a day long Barossa experience, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. There are terrific views of the estate, but the highlight was the multi-course lunch with wine pairing!
Lunch consisted of local produce salad, two hot dishes as mains, and a dessert.
Neither the lunch nor the wines disappointed!

We had Erica as are wine specialists she was so knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about the wine and the family who own the winery. We had a beautiful lunch and a stunning dessert. The kids had a huge pizza for just 9 dollars each. This has been a brilliant winery
