Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great view of the Barossa Valley, plenty of parking. Interesting sculptures but I’m glad I didn’t just go to look at them.

Great for taking visitors as you can see all of the Barossa floor. If you are into art, the sculptures are unique or just sit there with a cuppa and enjoy.

This sculpture park is located on the slope of the hill just under the lookout. The same carpark services the lookout and the sculpture park.
There were approximately 20 stone sculptures spread over the side of the hill requiring you to walk downhill from the car park and back up again to observe them at close range. Some I considered to be very weird and very unusual and others were kind of recognisable.
Interesting and gave a respite from wine tasting but not what I would consider to be a must see.

This is worth the short drive for the view of the Barossa valley and to take a short stroll around the sculptures which are interesting.

Mengler's Hill Lookout is ordinary at best, the view unremarkable, however, it accesses an interesting sculpture park giving it a reason to visit

Worth heading up the hill for the view and stretching your legs walking amongst the sculptures between wine tastings. No facilities though.

Great vista of the Barossa Valley below - The Sculpture Park could be more informative with a description next to each of them - describing what they depict and the thoughts behind them. There is a plaque at the beginning of the park which outlines some of them - but most are very abstract.

Drive a short way out to the east of Tanunda for a great panoramic view across the Barossa Valley (morning is best, with sun behind you) and surrounded by some amazing mega sculptures.

Just a lookout without too much to see. As there were burn offs occurring in the area very hazy. Sculpture was odd

Ideal to view the Barossa valley from up high and to inspect the sculptures. It would help to have an information plaque before each that gives the sculptor's name and sculpture title.
