About
A visit to our Wine Room will see our Wine Room Ambassadors guide you through our wines and introduce you to our story. The landscaped grounds framed by the Wine Room and the historic clock tower are the perfect spot to explore before throwing a picnic rug down and enjoying one of our delicious Coopers Board in the Barossa’s warm sun.

    History with Quality
I booked the Caley vertical. It’s origin is steeped in family history which was brilliantly articulated by my host. I was also generously allowed a cheeky tasting of the signature and menzies. Great experiece, great surrounds and a wonderful host

Fabulous Grenache Nursery Tour at Yalumba
This was a great experience starting with the visit to the nursery where Fred gave us a fabulous insight into all things root stock related. Onto a frollick through the vines with a couple of delicious tastings, followed by a visit to the Cooperage so interesting to see this live, then finishing off with our final tasting coupled with a gourmet platter in the main building. We stayed ion for a few hours drinking wine with our new found friends who were also booked on the tour. Many thanks to Steph our tour director, Ben our driver and Fred our Nursery expert. Highly recommend this tour if you want to see the journey of wine from planting to drinking. We loved it!

Still a beautiful cellar door and grounds, and still excellent wines.
Hasn't changed since our last visit just before smartphones came out. The grounds and cellar door are lovely. I spoiled myself to a tasting flight of The Calley shiraz 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018 vintages. Superb but definitely nicer with some age on it. We loved the viognier as well.

    Great day out.
We arrived with a welcome greeting and our table was ready for some wine tasting. Even though we didn’t like the reds as much as whites. All wines are great and the waitress was very informative on the wine we were drinking at the time. The small cheese platter was great as extra $30 and the gardens are beautiful. We enjoyed ourselves 100%

A Perfect Choice as a Wine Hopper Stop in Barossa Valley
Historic, upscale, amazing Barossa Valley tasting experience expertly curated by the attentive, informative and hospitable Yalumba staff. This was a perfect stop choice on our Wine Hopper visit to Barossa Valley. The option for a flight of White or Red Wines blended extraordinarily well with the palates of our group. The charcutier plate of cheeses, olives, crackers and thinly sliced prosciutto was a delightful complement to our wines. The Wine Hopper option is the best value for your day in Barossa Valley and Yolumba is a visually appealing and taste bud treat you will not want to miss.

Beautiful grounds and even better wine!
Thank you Steph for such a great tasting flight! She was so funny and thorough, explaining all the wines making it a very fun and enjoyable experience. The grounds are beautiful with lots of photo options, especially with all the original buildings. Loved the wines and the free freight, and we'll definitely be back when we're in Barossa again!

Lovely picturesque grounds, friendly staff and great wines. We did a tasting tour and this was one of the spots we picked. Super happy that we did.

We loved our visit to Yalumba. The large, old and characterful cellar door was impressive and we enjoyed a set of excellent, full bodied reds that were really delicious! We also enjoyed a wander around the expansive set of heritage buildings and gardens. Finally, a big thank you to our host, Batesy, who was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent flight tasting of red and white wines. The staff were both knowledgeable and engaging while the outdoor setting was most relaxing. Thoroughly recommend a visit as the wines are first rate and the staff very professional and caring.

What a fantastic and welcoming experience. Best value for money in the Barossa. We booked online which was so easy and were greeted at the restaurant by one of the owners. The grazing platter and wine flight for 2 was incredible,

We enjoyed a Yalumba Unearthed experience which featured their premium wines and we added a share platter to it. Wines were lovely and the platter delicious.
Afterwards we did a self guided tour around the beautifully maintained grounds and buildings. It would be a great place to have a picnic in the grounds.

Beautiful setting. We did the cooperage tour. Our amazing guide was very knowledgeable in the process as was the cooperage team. Even though we aren't wine connoisseurs we were made to feel special & hard to choose fave wine as all so good.
