About
The Barossa Farmers Market: real food from the homes and farms of the Barossa Valley. We are a food-only, traditional farmers market, open every Saturday morning between 7.30am - 11.30am. Many of our stalls are undercover, inside the Vintners shed in Angaston. Our producers sell an array of fresh fruit and vegetables, meats, smallgoods, baked goods, fresh seafood, olive oils, vinegars, confectionery, jams and preserves. We also have a coffee bar, selling a range of coffee's made from locally roasted beans. Stock up on your fresh produce, buy a sweet treat and enjoy a delicious coffee with friends. If it's breakfast you are looking for, we have a community breakfast bar offering bacon and egg rolls, with proceeds going back to the local community. We look forward to showing you the best of the Barossa soon!

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A great community market and a nice place to grab brunch and support the locals. Easy parking and friendly stall holders. We enjoyed about an hour there trying and buying olives, cheese, relishes, dried fruit, nuts and more.

We got up early to get to the market to find that it is a small market. Yes there are local wares for sale. We had a coffee from the main Expresso bar run by BAC coffee. It was the worst coffee we have had, just milky and virtually no coffee in it. We also had bacon and egg burgers which were ok. The music was someone strumming the same chord again and again… if one is going to get repeat visitors then local needs to step up on the market. I read great past reviews on TripAdvisor for this market but we did not experience this.

If you want some country loving here is the place to be. A great little market with so much to offer. In fact every product the Barossa has to offer is pretty much here. A lot of produce from olives to gin to salami. I think I bought it all as well. All the stall holders are very friendly and go out of their way to get your sale. Which isn't a bad thing as you get to go away with some produce that you may never have tried otherwise.

Lovely fresh food and friendly service at the Barossa Markets this morning. Great variety however no fresh fruit juices available. Difficulty parking a large vehicle so parked out on the road.

It's always an interesting visit and a good place to pick up fresh fruit and vegetables. You can run into friends for a chat, have a cup of coffee, taste a new wine, cheese or German sausage/smoked meat. Get there early to have breakfast or bring your own chair and table and go outside with your breakfast plate and sit under a shady tree.

As a stall holder of nearly seven years I can tell you that this market has seen some changes over the years but the authenticity has never failed! This market is a true picture of the enthusiasm, creativity and availability of its stall holders.
The market today has reached a peak I have not seen for sometime. The easing of COVID restrictions and the reopening of our market has seen a great new trend for ‘going local’ with visitor numbers on the rise and new stall holders therefore emerging. I have been a weekly shopper for many more years and appreciate the connections I have made with the people behind the produce and and now the folks I get to sell to too!
