Turtles are real, not just marketing :)
Jul. 2021
A beautiful walk at the end of a long day out to Great Keppel Island. We had very little daylight left but decided to take a chance to walk up to Turtle. Iewpoint.
We were not disappointed, sighting a few turtles popping up to say hi.
Also saw lots of butterflies on the way up and the views were spectacular.
If it wasn’t for the many mozzies joining us would have been full marks.

Stunning views well worth the climb

A really great short walk - 3.2km circuit. I suggest walking it in the recommended anti-clockwise direction, climbing up mostly under the shade of trees, occasionally getting glimpses of views down the coast, before coming out at the top with spectacular views of the coastline and surrounds. The trail was moderately steep but very well maintained. Highly recommended.

Big, beautiful walk!

Decided to take my kids 6,4 and 1 for a bit of a walk around the bluff circuit. It was a 2.3km round circuit track and it was tricky in spots having to carry the 12kg toddler at times up some stairs! 😂 But it was so worth it. The views are spectacular and the walk ways are well maintained.
It is not accessible for prams or wheelchairs but for those who can walk well it is a trip truly worth making.

Bush, beach, butterflies and beauty!

A relatively short walk with a bit of an incline to make you feel like you have done a bit of work and the view was magnificent! We were incredibly fortunate to come across an abundance of Blue Tiger butterflies that were incredibly cooperative and settled on a range of plants and allowed me to get in close range to take some wonderful shots. A truly memorable walk!

An excellent bush walk for most fitness levels. Diverse landscape views from Australian bush to oceanic views overlooking the Keppel Islands. A must see if you're visiting the Capricorn Coast!

Awesome natural walk up the moutain.

I'm a big guy about 150kg and I was able to conquer the mountain on foot (sandals if you will). Believe it or not! I started the climb from the coast side to the Turtle lookout then further on up to another lookout showing Yeppoon and Rosslyn bay then further on up to the summit giving vast views. You can see Mount Wheeler from up there then the gradual descend down the other side of the mountain giving views of the Causeway lake and nearby beaches contuining on all just bushes and a small part of the Scenic Highway until you land at the bottom of the mountain back to the park and car park.

I did get to see a small gecko and some birds and the vast different species of folage (plants and trees) that grow on the mountain.

Well structured track
Sep. 2020 • Couples
This beautiful walking trail is very well structured and provides a lovely experience of local flora, fauna and views over the vista of the coastline of islands.Trail is steep and not suitable for wheelchairs or those with impaired mobility. Very nice picnic areas, bbq's and facilities with ample car parking and signage for local information on area. Turtle sightings seen daily, bring your camera and/ or binoculars.

Great Views plus Turtles!
Sep. 2020 • Solo
Bluff Point Circuit (a short 2.3km walk including including Summit, Turtle and Ritamata lookouts). Enjoy views across to the Keppel Bay islands and down onto Kemp Beach. Sea turtles 🐢🐢were sighted from both Turtle and Ritamada lookouts. The ascent is gradual yet the summit is exposed. Wear joggers, sunscreen, a hat and don't forget water and your phone for photos.
