Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had a great day playing a social 3 ball Ambrose with a couple of friends. Shared clubs as we were all hitting from the same spot and no competition play.
Play was a little slow but that wasn’t to bad.
Unfortunately some grumpy old guy in a green shirt came up and abused us for sharing clubs, accusing us of only paying one set of green fees and just being a grumpy old fart. We asked if he worked there and he said yes and drove off.
It was also interesting that the group he was in was a group of 5.
We talked to the group in front of us and they said that this is a common occurrence at Yeppoon.
Decided not to have a drink at the clubhouse and to rethink future games there.

Friendly staff, nice open course, but a bit up and down. Bunkers hard as concrete, so we all agreed to take a free drop, behind if you got in one as was unplayable. I know you are cringing over rules but a friendly social game between family was what it was.
Food was old pies and no drinks (water) on course so take plenty.

We found out that they had a special on a thursday $18 for eighteen holes so decided to go and have a game, no need to book just turn up. What a surprise this course was, some very nice and picturesque holes with water along and in front of the green. Both my wife and I really enjoyed ourselves, not hard to walk, although at our age we use a motorised buggy. Highly reccomend if you would like an enjoyable game.

We met with friends at the golf club for brunch. We were ignored when we first arrived and then after finding the person in charge of catering we were told what was what. It was a help yourself deal. The bacon was swimming ing in oil, the whole meal was luke warm and not very appetising. Not an experience we will be repeating.

Sorry guys, but it was dreadful. Frozen, tinned and out of a packet, and not even warmed through in most cases. Staff were great though.

We booked directly at the bar for our game in the Wednesday stableford comp.
we tried to look online to check out the course but found that the website had been closed down. Their Facebook page hasn’t been updated in well over a year also so we had to go to the course to book our game. the lady at the bar. was very knowledgeable and friendly.
We returned for our game on Wednesday and the young guy and girl had little to no golf knowledge and told us the incorrect way to mark our cards ( it was a different system to what we have seen before ) so at the end we had to rewrite the cards over again.
My husband was entering our cards into the computer when a very rude member pushed in front of him and entered his own card totally ignoring my husband.
We were not made to feel very welcome.
The course was in good condition. We were expecting a much higher standard for the course, as we had heard good reviews about the course and the pro shop. There was not really a pro shop left there. Just a small corner with a few things for sale.
There was no food or snacks to eat
And after the game we had a quick drink and left.
Overall, an ok country course. Would probably not return. Would try the local emu park or Capricorn next visit.

If your visiting Yeppoon and want to see a Kangaroo this is the place for you. Great 19th hole and well layed out course either for the walker or the rider but I recommend a pit stop for a refreshment just due to the aspect from the club house. Very Friendly staff and cold as beer with an ice cream for the kids too.

A great course, tight in places, always green. Enjoyed the local hit out. Fairways are narrow in places, but set in peaceful surroundings.

Wow it's so good I noticed while eating they had to wipe it off the board. I'd say a good 70% had them.

Not a bad course - fairways and greens OK, but hired buggies not good - so old and rusted it fell apart on 7th hole so had to carry bag!!
