Thoroughly enjoyed the show with good wholesome food! I laughed and laughed! Gareth and Kay have been entertaining for many years snd this theatre restaurant is iconic!

I managed to get to both of the 40th anniversary shows recently and loved it. Right from the service, hollarious show, cocktails and food, everything was excellent. I fell in love with their sticky date pudding, served hot and plenty of caramel sauce (everything seems to be home made). Kudos to footlights for introducing new, young and talented performers to the spotlight. Trent and Annie were the icing on the cake. I've been a regular over the years and it's wonderful to see footlights engaging another generation.

We had a very enjoyable and laugh filled night. Thanks so much for all the fun. The cast is extremely talented. The 3 course meal was well served by our gorgeous waitress. Well worth going to see. Thanks.

Footlights theatre is truly the hidden gem of Yeppoon for a fantastic night of entertainment! The Warpoles serve a simple but fantastic meal and the theatre show is funny, witty and clever. Young and old will have a fantastic night.

With so much inauthenticity in today's world, here is a place that transports you back to good old times when passion for theatre was genuine, love for performance was in the heart, and enjoyment of live entertainment was care-free.
Tonight, my family and I were embraced by a down-to-earth frivolousness and reflections of a bygone era - perhaps some which have not been even been dusted in ages - that could never be re-created in its true spirit ever again. The Footlights Theatre in Yeppoon, Queensland, is genuine authentic.
It is not West End and indeed we should all be thankful that this - may I say, institution - is not! While you may not leave bedazzled as you may an Andrew Lloyd Webber production, you will leave feeling cuddled - sometimes literally, but you'll have to see a show to understand why - by the whole experience.
From the moment of arrival to the dimming of lights suggesting it's time to close, we felt a sense of "this is not how things are done these days...". It's perfect because its imperfections are "how it was once done". And that is... beautiful.
Remember that great Australian movie "The Castle"? In the same vein, I give this establishment 5 STARS simply because IT'S THE VIBE!

We stayed two nights. The owners/actors also rent out rooms and have spots for RV's. Lovely people, three well behaved small dogs. nice library. We shared the kitchen, had our own bathroom. There is a small, slow elevator to get a person upstairs. Would not consider this an accessible accommodation.

We had a wonderful night celebrating a friends birthday. The show was very entertaining and a laugh from start to finish. The staff were very friendly and obliging but the food was only average. All round tho it was a fab night and I would recommend it.

Mixture of new and old material in the show. Food was good as usual. Lovely ambiance for the occasion too. Miss the black and white mime videos that used to play at the beginning during dinner service

How much is this ? And do i need to book ? How often is it on?

They have a website.... google footlights theatre Yeppoon.
Best to book to secure reservations. Special occasions have special shows too, so best to check their website.
They are also on Facebook, so if you like their page you will get all the updates, jokes etc.

At what time does the Saturday night theatre section start?

Hi Barbara, We start taking dinner orders at 6:30pm and our show commences after you have had the first two courses (approx. 8:00pm) sweets and tea and coffee will be served at interval and the show will finish at approximately 10:15pm.
