What a lovely spot! The beach is very clean and the setting is beautiful. There is a lot to see and enjoy and there is a caravan park just back from the beach. If you are there early in the morning and also at dusk, there is a very good chance that you'll see kangaroos on the beach.

Went for walk on Farnborough beach and was very disappointed. We found a dead turtle and tons of plastic rubbish and a constant flow of cars.

No crowds, miles of beach combing, swimming, fishing, walking the dog, riding the horse or building sandcastles with the kids. The beach is only 10 - 15 minutes north of Yeppoon and really safe to swim at. You can park your car at the top or drive down the ramp and head north in your 4 wheel drive.

This is a great place for the kids and dogs to run free on a wide beach that goes northward from Yeppoon for miles. It is great for walking. The water is good for a dip or you can try fishing. Parking is convenient at any of the entrances. Just round the Bluff from Yeppoon's main street is the first entrance which is also a park with bbq facilities and a children's playground.

Very clean beach with plenty of interesting shells. The water is shallow out for a long way so its good for swimming. Its a 15-20 minute walk into town from the Farnsborough caravan Park
