Not too steep, nicely shaded and protected by the trees from the wind. Worth the short walk for the view. There are no park benches along the track if you need to sit but you could sit and rest on the man-made steps along the way. The blow hole is here to see.

We went for a walk up to Fan Rock Lookout. The track is well paved with lots of stairs. There are two lookouts, the first looking back to Bluff Point and the other North over the Marina. Views are spectacular and it is well spending the 15 minutes to take a look, a distance of 700m return. At the lookout which looks towards Bluff Point there is an incredible fan rock which was formed when the lava cooled. A very interesting and unusual volcanic rock formation. The bush which you walk up through is also lovely. While you are at Double Head it is also worth taking the short 200m return walk over to Pebble Beach. Again nice views.

This is a very short, but steep walk to a beautiful lookout, and fabulous rock structure, Fan Rock. Maybe a 10m min walk to the top...go for it!

Gorgeous coastal views and interesting rock formation. There is a good interpretive sign at the lookout which explains the geology.

Not as good as the Bluff point lookout but also a lot shorter climb. Definitely a great novelty to be able to look back at Bluff Point if like us you had just climbed it too.
