Our boys noticed the Aqua Park on our last trip to GC.
This time they were so excited to go. It’s a great location with some shade along the shore under some trees.
Our boys were old enough to tackle the course without us which gave us a chance to relax on our very active holiday.
There are lifesavers all over the course but would not recommend kids under 10 go unsupervised as there are a large number if adults on the course. We were able to find our kids throughout their session and as they knew where we were would call our to us to watch regularly.
Both boys joined a group on an air pillow and enjoyed being thrown into the air by the group jumping on it.
Prices per session were very reasonable for the 50 minutes and get cheaper the longer your there.

Must do in GC! For the price this is, its very much worth it.
Recently did this for a bucks and for $20(ish) for 50 minutes it was very much worth it. Just out of GC central, the experience is great. Life jackets are worn, life guards on duty, area is roped off and numbers are limited so safety is a big focus.
There are lockers to put wallets, car keys etc so all you need to bring is a towel.
Will surely be back and will also try the Sunshine Coast too.

Ten minutes away from Surfers with a decent park next door for the little kids. Well timed sessions (50 min) ensure it doesn’t get over crowded. obstacles ranged from easy to clamber over to quite challenging which meant some time spent in the water which was thankfully warm. Some minor maintenance needs with partially deflated sections of the course.

Booked a 1-hour session online for 10am the next day. This was for myself and my 2 boys. But had to cancel by 8am on the day of the session b/c my boys got sick overnight. So I requested a refund thinking this would be straight forward. Left a phone message, and 2 subsequent emails and received no reply whatsoever. 2 weeks later I read the fine print in T&Cs. It says "Aqua Park tickets are non-refundable". Well its true.

This park was amazing! Very well run and a lot bigger than our local Aqua park. The session was run following COVID safe guidelines. Sessions were 50 minutes and ran to time. Lifeguards on Duty. Parking a bit difficult so allow extra time

Lots of fun for adults and kids. There is a seperate obstacle for small kids. Sessions times go for 50 mins, plenty of time and makes it less congested so you are able to go on everything. Staff were very accommodating and helpful.

A great concept, but unfortunately poorly executed in our experience. A long wait to check in resulting in missed time, despite arriving early. Only 1 person making coffees, serving at kiosk and checking people in.
More critical though was the upkeep - we cut our feet quite badly on uncovered chains (and it was evident others did too as we could see blood from other guests on some inflatables too).
Be careful too, as many slides don’t have water splashing on them and the girls in our group burnt/grazed the skin off the thighs/bums going down the hot dry plastic.
A few days later, and infections set in, we are wasting holiday days with sore bums and feet keeping us room-bound.

Safe place for kids to have fun while parents chill. There’s safety briefing before the session and there are attentive lifeguards. The cafe had a good variety of snacks and drinks. Location is convenient... within walking distance from Australia Fair. There’s changing room and shower facilities.

Good fun for oldies as well as the young ones.
Big enough to not have to queue at anything, not too hard to lift body weight (although some might struggle).
Water temp was great and 60 mins is more than enough.

Highly recommended. Actioned packed from start to finish. Considering the amount of people during the session there was very little wait time at the obstacles. Our daughters had a blast and made a few friends along the way. Highly recommended.

Are we allowed to bring mobile phones into the water park? In a waterproof pocket of course!

Yes you do have lockers for bags and stuff but if you have a waterproof bag I don’t see a problem as I did and so did a lot of ather people

Are you sure that this is GC Aqua park, we had this experience at Bayside Aqua park in Carbook. Looking at going to the GC Aqua park which is at southport and in the Bay hence why I ask about the water.
