" In the event of something happening to me, there is something I would like you all to see ..."
May 2021
Visiting this celebration of one of Australia's TOP SINGING GROUPS retrieved a dull day with little to fill in time prior to the A League match up the road.
The BEE GEES were of my era, & Spicks & Specks was a favourite song for so many years.
The info & presentation of the Bee Gees Way was superb & completed a comprehensive discography of all there numerous hits.
Being a fan for decades I still managed to stumble on details that I never knew.
They morphed several times in their career to take on the ever changing styles of music tastes, but when you see their list of hits you realise how talented & prodigious they ended up being, even on the international stage.
Spent about an hour reading all the panels ... & reliving my youth if I'm honest.

A Must Visit
Mar. 2021 • Couples
We learnt so much as we walked down through this walkway. The music set the atmosphere and the photographs and sculptures were brilliant.
The story of the Bee Gees is fascinating and this place is well worth a visit.

Awesome Tribute
Jan. 2021
Huge fans of the Bee Gees , had to come and have a look at this great walk. It has been really well done, and it was great to have the music playing and the wonderful photos of the family. Easy to find once parked along the water. Definitely recommend strolling through if you are a fan.

Light show at night
Jan. 2021 • Friends
We did the light show the other evening and loved sitting in the lane watching the old footage and hearing stories from the boys themselves. The oldies loved the bandstand shows as well as the displays. A great laneway on the water.

Well done to the council for giving the visitors and locals the memories.
Sad there is only one of the BeeGees left now.

What a great tribute to the Bee Gees!
This is an excellent overview of the boys history and careers, complete with bronze statuary and some great murals. Well done, Redcliffe!

Temporarily closed from 4/5/15. The MBRC advises that :
Bee Gees Way
In Redcliffe during the late 1950s, three young brothers gathered around a microphone and for the first time performed using a name now famous around the globe.
Bee Gees Way temporary closure
Bee Gees Way will close temporarily from Monday May 4, 2015 to enable construction to begin on a new shade shelter and other enhancements to the walkway.
Barry Gibb to return home to Redcliffe
The Moreton Bay Region's iconic Bee Gees Way is currently closed for the construction of Stage 2 ahead of Barry Gibb's return home later this year to re-open the popular public walkway that honours the world-famous super group.
Refer to Moreton Bay Rgional Council website under Bee Gees Way
I am in Europe now hopefully will not miss the celebration and Barry Gibbs return home in September...
