Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Have been going to qld raceway to spectate for years now and have loved, but now with the affordable go karting I love it even more! Though the lack of cushioning on the seats leave a bit to be desired. Besides that no flaws! Friendly staff. Awesome experience. Affordable!

This raceway needs updating in a lot of areas, garages are carports. The track needs re surfacing, the run offs aren`t safe enough. Track night lights don`t follow CAMS regulations. The lease owner flies his helicopter to low when races were on, don`t know if this is legal and parks it on a inner track road during set up.

A boring track with four straights and corners. Boring to ride a motorbike on trackdays and boring to watch races. It needs a complete redesign and upgrade to world class standards. That is capable of attracting F1, MotoGP and World superbike races. I know a lot of people who love riding Lakeside, north Brisbane and Morgan Park at Warwick and don't ride Queensland raceway because it's so boring.

CLOSE THE PLACE DOWN. It's worse than a trip to Springfield via Deebing, and the other Dog Box suburbs to get there. BAD Planning for future hell hole SLUMS. The area is really in need of a million trees planted. Sure people with pollution problems love it. i stayed 30mins of wasted entry cash. Its as exciting as the Ipswich Mall ...

Attended this venue over the weekend for the Ipswich V8 Supercars event. The traffic control management system put in place made it a smooth entry and exit into the car parks. The ticketing entry system was also managed very well with little wait times to get into the gates. I found all staff / volunteers very helpful over the two days. There were plenty of food venues and reasonably priced the the event and the line ups were managed well. Plenty of portable bathrooms for the amount of crowd. The event was great. Plenty of on track entertainment through out the day.

On Saturday we arrived late and had to park a long way away The traffic was managed in an orderly fashion.

But Sunday was the opposite. We arrived much earlier and parked much closer to the track. When the race was over, we joined a queue and waited at least 30 minutes in a line that wasn't moving. We could see other traffic moving though. In the end we followed some people and left the line. There were no traffic marshals in sight. We drove aimlessly around and joined a line that was moving.

We finally found our way to the gate, where a gigantic 4wd barged right across in front of us nearly causing an accident, in front of a marshal who did nothing, and they were followed by more idiots in another 4wd, both of whom were driving far too fast.

The marshal at the gate was the first we had seen. Then when we were out on the road, we were wanting to turn right when most of the traffic was turning left. The left turning lane was moving well, our lane was not moving at all. Most of the traffic in that lane was turning left as well. So we wasted a lot more time there not moving.

This was our first visit to this race track and it was more disorganised with the traffic on the Sunday than Winton.

Very disappointed. We will not be returning.

Last month, my boyfriend did the 9 lap Ultimate V8 Race Experience at Queensland Raceway, which was my birthday present to him. To say he thoroughly enjoyed it is an understatement. He was a little nervous at first, but after the safety briefing and with the instructor in the car with him, he was game.

I got to watch from the barrier beside the track. When he was done, he had the biggest smile on his face and a glow that lasted all day. I would thoroughly recommend this as the perfect gift!

Yeah... we paid extra and got the USB stick with the GoPro footage showing the view from the front of the car and my boyfriend inside while he was driving.
