- Leesa W1 contributionLovely experience interacting with friendly animals in a beautiful country setting. We just had the best morning feeding camels and llamas, brushing miniature ponies and donkeys and parting a menagerie of other beautiful, sociable animals. The Farm is an absolutely stunning setting and Shane’s talks are equal parts hilarious and informative. Highly recommend visiting Shane and Darren’s farm!Visited March 2023Travelled with familyWritten 4 March 2023
- Teresa H8 contributionsBrilliantRecently I visited the Llama Farm and, along with my extended family, enjoyed the Faces of the Farm Tour. It was brilliant. We learnt so much about Llamas and the other animals on the farm. Our group included an age group of two to sixty-three and everyone enjoyed interacting with the animals. I highly recommend this tour.Visited April 2023Travelled with familyWritten 3 April 2023
- Sightseers1 contribution2nd Visit and can’t wait to go back. The whole experience from booking to the actual visit to the farm has been one of ease and enjoyment. This is our second time and we will be going regularly in the coming years. Shane and the team have designed a wonderful, informative and hands on experience. The respect and appreciation for the animals and the property they share is contagious. The walk in the fresh air was relaxing, enjoying time with animals from the large gentle camels and peaceful llamas to the smaller horses, goats and chickens. People from toddlers to grandparents had THE BEST TIME together! See you next time!Visited April 2023Written 8 April 2023
- Lisa F1 contributionWhat a relaxing way to spend an afternoon. Life really is calmer with a llama! As a family, we did the Llama walk in the afternoon. It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. The hosts, Shane & Darren, gave great info about the llamas before heading off for our walk around their beautiful farm, which included a sunset view and a walk beside the Brisbane River. Shane took the time to stop during the walk to take some photos of us with our individual llamas, as well as a family group photo. We got to visit and feed camels along the way and to meet some of the other animals as well. Being able to be up close to the llamas was the best! They were very gentle and easy to walk with. I want to go back and do it all again! Thank you for a great afternoon.Visited April 2023Written 23 April 2023
