An easy walk from the memorial wall up to the singing ship. The local RSL has done a world class job in portraying both local individuals war journey with colourful displays capturing their story (postcards), pictures & medals within a series of glass posters. The Anzac landing was cleverly portrayed with the local sea as background. Worth the walk but be sure to read the stories!

A friend had told us about this and we went to see it. A very well laid out display. It is a shame that vandals have destroyed the lights on the walkway as a sign stated it would be awhile before repairs could be done. Apart from that the display was informative and beautiful. Worth taking a walk around. A wonderful tribute to the forces who helped fight for our freedom. The singing ship up in the park above was also a fascinating work of art.

Beautiful coastal walk with views and amazing memorials and exhibits. The walk leads to the singing ship. There is a shed with war history. Recommend.

This is an excellent memorial to Australia’s involvement in wars around the world. It pays tribute to those from the local area. The silhouette based on a photo from world war 1 was quite moving. Well done Emu Park community.

Wow! This is a beautiful, thoughtful memorial to our Service Men, Women and Animals. You wander along the front of a hill past plaques and statues and then you come to a covered shed with a stuning poppy floor and the history of some of the locals who served in the wars. Then there is a beautiful art installation of a glass photo looks out to the Keppel Islands. If you stand just right the islands look like battleships on the horizon of the photo. Well worth the time to walk this path, regardless of the weather.

This memorial walk is not very long but it certainly packs a punch with information about the war... the first plaque I came to started by explaining that there was a WW2 lookout here once. A squad of soldiers manned the tower by working shifts.... it operated on a 24 hour basis. The small dugout was equipped with a .50 calibre Browning machine gun, a set of binoculars and a field telephone. The weapons pit was covered with camouflage material.

It's a beautiful way to spend time and an amazing tribute to those who fought in wars to defend liberty. Not only is there a wealth of information here , there are also amazing ocean views where you can look out to the Keppel Islands.
