Bob Holland is a great host and storyteller. Probably could claim for the smallest (or cosiest) winery in Australia. It is not your large winery, stamp grapes experience, but you get plenty of time to indulge in various of wines all made in the vineyard. PS ask for the Bob's Fortified. It is excellent.

Had a lovely wine tasting here. Owners and the surrounds are lovely. We tried the wines and walked away with one of each to try again later!! The collection of biscuit tins is a must see.

This is our second visit to Holland Wines. Our first visit was over a year ago where Bob was there explaining about the grapes and showing the beautiful property. He said at the time when his wife is there she can do morning teas etc with some notice. We were a group of five and purchased some beautiful wines. We purchased the Shiraz which is delightful. Throughout the year our friends have arranged for bob to meet them in Brisbane which again we purchased some more Shiraz. Our other friends love the Chardonnay and a sweet white wine. We were back in the region with our Annual getaway with our friends so one of our friends phoned Bob if they were available for us to visit again. He was going to be away bottling wine but Robyn would be there this time. We asked if we could book a morning tea which was no problem. On arrival Robyn met us with a warm welcoming and showing us the her many variety of pets. Robyn welcomed us into her home and started to gather the huge morning tea which we had outside, it was delicious served with coffee or a pot of tea alone with sandwiches, fruit cake, ginger slice and scones. After a good hour of chatting and eating we went inside the gift shop and purchased some more wines. It always pays to phone regardless of what brochures say as there could be unpreventable circumstances for Robyn and Bob to close for the day.

Disappointing - the brochure said it was open 10-4 and we arrived in that time to find the gates shut and the place desserted.

The owner was very sociable and helpful and happy to talk about his experience as a vitner. The wines were quite palatable and reasonably priced. Definitely worth the stop to try and buy.
