Stunning

Fantastic views and unique area. It's an easy walk (has some stairs) and is a good sunset spot at certain times of the year.

Worth the effort, but in the heat of summer it can be taxing. Take water. Walk across the sand to the view over the coastline, hard work but rewarding! On a fine day this is one of the best views in Queensland.

I had been to Rainbow Beach many times but never getting to do the walk to the sandblow so on our last trip it was a must do no matter what and I wasn't disappointed. I recommend to drive to the car park unless you are a seasoned hiker to do the walk up from the town centre. The walk... More

Make sure you take lots of water. The trek through the bush isn't overly long. But if you walk from rainbow beach it takes... More

Worth the quick drive from Rainbow and short walk out to the Sand Blow. The views both towards the beach and back over the land are beautiful.

Never seen anything like this! Beautiful views of the ocean showcasing the blues & greens. The sand hills are amazing....it's a bit of a walk, but well worth it when you arrive at the cliffs edge!

Breathtaking views to either watch the sunrise or sunset, or both! You can see right across to Double Island.

We went to Carlo sand blow and we were amazed at what nature has done. Captain James Cook named this spot after one of his men so it has been there for a long time. If you are a walker there is a trail for you to follow but takes about 10 hours. You need to take water as there... More
