Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic lookout - the track is really clean and clear with a nice deck for you to leave your stuff as shoes, heavy bags and also nice to take a picture of you are with your family.

Awesome views for both sunrise and sunset. Short walk, less than a kilometre from the carpark through a beautiful forest to an amazing sand dune.

Very interesting. I had never heard of a sandblow but now I know what it is and it's nice. The sand was very soft. We went at sunset and it was beautiful. Lots of people come to see the sunset.

Really amazing natural attraction. Incredibly huge area where you feel like a tiny ant. You really need to bring a boogey board - I didn’t and ended up unsuccessful scooching my butt down a steep sand dune. Hilarious and fun but would’ve been so much better with a board. It’s incredibly windy though but a lovely walk down to the sea cliffs where you can see uninterrupted views of Rainbow Beach. The walk back though was uphill sand - not great for the unfit.
There’s a great viewing platform which is a short 10-15min walk from the car park.

Fabulous spot, well worth the visit. The sand bow is very impressive and the walk through the rainforest is lovely. Really enjoyed our visit.

A natural wonder!! Must see in Rainbow Beach! Beautiful views, sunset and sunrise from the dunes. Kids had a ball sliding down the dunes on boogie boards. Not a bad track from the car park. Take a torch for the walk back down if going for sunset.

The young ones rolled down the sands which were quite slippery but soft if you fell down. It was a marvellous experience driving to the sand blow, then parking and walking the sands. I climbed down to the bottom with an amazing view of the Rainbow beaches that give the area its name. Climbing back up was harder but I stayed on the edge... An awesome place to visit

We brought a cardboard but it did not work so we went to buy a proper board at the nearby shops. The view is spectacular and the sand is very smooth. Must visit for all who is at rainbow beach

A really nice place for an evening short walk and a sit down to see an amazing sunset. Can get busy with others around you but there is enough space to seek some solitude. Spectacular sunsets, a must see when in Rainbow Beach.

A great place to visit when in Rainbow Beach. I walked from the town Center and once at the car park it was an easy walk and worth the effort.
