Overview
More
1770 Distillery was established as a Boutique Distillery to utilise the locally grown fruits of the area and to provide a unique experience for both locals and tourists. It was John's dream to have a distillery and that is what led both John & Debra to the beautiful seaside Town of 1770 / Agnes Water in Queensland. The dream materialized after being bitten by the distilling bug whilst living in Tasmania. It was there that both John & Debra developed their distilling skill under the ever watchful eye of both Bill & Lyn Lark of the Lark Distillery.

Stopped by 1770 Distillery for a tasting. Top Notch Liqueur. Owner John had some great stories and gave us some places to visit on the rest of our trip down the coast. Highly recommend.

Tucked away was a beautiful little place. Great hospitality and the most amazing Liqueurs made from fruit. The strawberry one a must with Champagne 👌👌

Stumbled on this gem driving around checking out Agnes Waters. Awesome spot for a tasting. Friendly owner happy to educate you on the area and his distillery. Purchased a bottle of his signiture strawberry liqueur. Will return next time we visit this area.

Stopped here and sampled all for of the liquors. Strawberry was my favourite, Will be nice with a mixer as a bit too strong. There is also a tiny nursery attached with some nice plants.

We came to 1770 looking for a beach and discovered this little gem. The owners are long time distilllers from Tasmanis and use the local fruit to produce delicious liqueurs. Yum!

Amazing place to visit! Owner was lovely, thoroughly explaining each of the 3 types of liqueur available. After taste testing, he explained how he makes them and it will blow you away how much time and effort is put into each bottle. Couldn't leave without...More
