The Agnes Water Info Centre is staffed with knowledgeable, passionate, friendly locals who can advise on how to get the best of your stay in this very special area of Australia. The beauty and attractions of this area are not always apparent at first glance. And, because it's a small town, things can change month to month. Want to find... More

Unfortunately two days into our trip we were hit with rain so we decided to head to the information centre to see what was around. We were greeted with a friendly hello however when we asked the man behind the counter what we could do on a rainy day his response was "not much" we were left standing there looking... More

Our volunteers have a number of suggestions for guests on rainy days including LARC Tours, cafe tours, gallery, museum and distillery. It is unfortunate that this wasn't suggested to you. Our male volunteer has an amazing knowledge of the area, having been working for us for... More

The ladies in the Centre were very nice, friendly and helpful. the Centre itself has brochures for every type of activity and accommodation etc. They also sell a good range... More

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We love having a chat to guests and telling them all about the wonderful activities available in Agnes Water and the Town of 1770. The majority of our souvenirs are produced by local artists, which makes them very unique :) More

Thanks girls. Your advice and recommendations were spot on. Don't mess around trying to work it out yourself. Take 10 minutes and speak to someone that can match your wishes to reality.

Whilst this facility is not central (located with other government offices) it is worth a visit - plentiful leaflets - including a very good local walks leaflet - and friendly and helpful advice

Visited here yesterday and the lady at the desk was very helpful. Agnes Water / 1770 is a fairly small place so they also had information about other QLD places as well. Cute little store, very good information on activities and accomodation

We went to the Visitor Centre to get some ideas for things to do around the area. The two ladies couldn't have been more helpful giving us some really good ideas, booking a tour for us and recommending places to eat and places not to eat!

Called into get some maps etc as usual. But bought local candles for presents and the staff assisted with info on our next stop over at Tannum Sands. A couple from the UK were there and they were doing pre bookings for them also. Nothing was a bother. Thanks Team!
