Lisa was very helpful, she booked tours for us on the LARC, a Moondoggie day tour with Artie ( this was a blast, highly recommended) and a day cruise on the Lady Musgrave Experience out of Bundaberg as the local tour to Musgrave was not operating due to weather conditions. The Lady Musgrave experience also cancelled on us due to... More

After having our Lady Musgrave trip cancelled twice (see other review) we came here last minute for help as we had exhusted all other options. They were very friendly and gave us options for another tour which they organised promptly. Great professional service, would recommend to anyone wanting help with tourist information in and around 1770.

This shop is really great! They have incredible souvenirs and gifts, from cheap cute stuff for your distant relative to incredibly unique items for your significant other. This shop is quirky, bright, has the best souvenirs in town and you can easily browse for an hour on a rainy day. They have an in-store travel agency that never charges you... More

Everybody in this shop is very nice and helpful. You feel welcome straight away. I'm normally not a person who buys vouchers or trips through travel agencies, even if i worked in one myself, but here I wanted to! I like people who like their job and know what they're talking about. Thank you for your help, Kevin!

Just had a week at Agnes waters, and popped in to discover 1770 to check out snorkeling oppertunities. Hired a good quality cheap snorkel and fin set! Lisa recommended a few spots close by to have a look! Omg, amazing, I got to swim with the TURTLES 🐢...! Absolutely majestic, so excited to go to the other spots to see... More

Lisa and Greg were of tremendous help to us in planning our journey north from Agnes Water to Cape Tribulation - with a slight detour south to visit Lady Elliott Island. Greg figured us out pretty quickly and penciled out a suggested itinerary which we have been following. Some of the places he suggested would not have been on our... More

Family holiday of swimming, fishing and relaxing. Had the dog with us and we all enjoyed the warm water to swim in and relaxing together. Had a few nights of rain but the sun shone every day. Butterflies everywhere for two days-they came in from the water? off the Islands or further south but there were thousands, blue and black-just... More

I visited the shop for help with local bike routes and the staff were very helpful. They provided me with a map and very clear directions. Lisa, Kevin, Greg and Shar were an absolute treat. They created a positive environment in which we felt no pressure, they were just so genuinely friendly and down to earth, eager to suggest fun things to see and do in the area and surrounding areas. Ended up surfing and had a blast, and they gave us some great photos from... More
