Must see ! The way humans were taught by killer whales to hunt together is amazing . We stayed about 1 1/2 hours then drove to the Davidson whaleing station , lovely spot. Old slab huts were in great condition.

The museum is well laid out and has numerous exhibits. The dialogue boards are very informative. There is a good theatre with a very informative film about "Old Tom"- a local legend.

We went today and it was really good, gives you a great insight in how it was in the old days . Well worth the visit and would definitely recommend.

Small local museum. Well laid out and interesting. Includes not only killer whale information, but also WWI, WWII memorabilia and the local community. Worth the visit to learn about the local area.

Our 3yo loved the boats, kids area and theatre. We loved Old Tom. Even better than our last visit 6 years ago!

Surprisingly interesting ! Initially I didn't want to go, pleasantly surprised in the end. The kids also learnt something!

There is not much else to see here but shops and restaurants but this museum is well worth a visit. The video sound could do with a bit of tweaking though.

The museum is a short walk from the wharf but it is all uphill and a bit steep. There are usually shuttle buses operating between the wharf and town when the cruise ships are in port so you may find it easier to get on... More
