Tasteful museum

The whaling story was tastefully presented and linked to the indigenous people. Nice little museum to pass an hour or so

Interesting exhibits and information about Eden's whaling history. You only need an hour or so to look around. Our visit was followed by a tour around Twofold Bay which added to our involvement in the historical information.

Great visit and place to take the kids. A film based on the history of whaling in the Eden area and how this influenced the lifestyle of settlers in the area.

We visited the museum and it provided so much information regarding the history of Eden, its people and the special characteristics of the whaling. You need to see the skeleton of Old Tom - huge. Apart from the normal museum pieces, you can watch various videos explaining specific aspects of life in Eden in the 1800s. Well worth the visit... More

Very interesting and informative museum. Staff very friendly. Pit there wasn't a cafe on site but believe this will be happening soon. Well done.

Worth a visit to learn about Tom the orca. The history of whaling is covered and we can understand how we have moved on from this dubious past. Lovely views outside, worth a visit.

This museum has much more in it than expected, definitely worth a visit and a bargain for only $10. The top part of the museum is all about the killer whales and "Old Tom" which is very interesting. The bottom of the museum has a few different rooms dedicated to different things - the war, for example, was one. There... More

Well worth the 10 to get in. Good display of all things whaling and local. And a changing display downstairs. Very informative, I learned a lot, a must do when in Eden

Who would have thought that this place would have so much rich history! The whale hunting history is truly remarkable. If you want to get an understanding of the rich culture then get into here.

This was excellent to walk around and see how the fishing industry and shipping used to be. Not over crowded.
