The museum is a credit to its community in that it presents an industry long-past and often seen with derision! The Eden Killer Whale Museum deals with the subject of Whaling in a beautiful and historically correct way. Excellent facility kid-friendly and educational!

The museum was relatively cheap to enter and had a couple of major artefacts. The museum could try and get some more bigger displays and the theatre sound is so bad you can hardly hear it. All in all is was very good.

Needs an update. Interesting if you want an example of what a rural museum in Australia used to be like.

Today we visited the Eden whale museum. At $10 per adult admission, it is a low cost really interesting vision of the history of whale hunting in Eden from the 1900s. It has many stories and exhibits. It is definitely worth a look if you...More

A must stop along our road trip. Nice high point view of the sea and its whaling history. This small museum had loads of info of it's hay days. The artifacts were amazing and well preserved. A nice souvenior shop. Recommended to visit.

The museum is a short walk from the wharf but it is all uphill and a bit steep. There are usually shuttle buses operating between the wharf and town when the cruise ships are in port so you may find it easier to get on... More
