Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Boardwalk gives you the opportunity to see the variety of bird life around the lake. It also allows you to walk in many micro-environments of vegetation, creek surrounds and lake side activities. The walk can be as long or as short as you desire.

Lovely walk - flat and easy to navigate. Lots of natural bushland around and it's a lovely long stretch. We enjoyed getting off the boardwalk and walking on the long stretch of Aslings Beach. Peaceful and enjoyable.

What a beautiful area in this small town. A great place to view seals and other animals in the water. We went there by bus.

This boardwalk has a safe and even surface for strollers and maybe wheelchairs.
It also has interesting historical facts written on posts along the way.

Just over the hill from the town of Eden, this is a nice walk with information points that give some historical facts. The area also has some neat rock formations. At the start you also run adjacent to the cemetery that is open and has a number of old gravestones which are interesting to read.

We usually go to Keith's Pinch at Quarantine Bay because of its seclusion but Aslings Beach is great for the dogs as well. Lots of friendly people and lovely views.

This is the second morning I have walked the boardwalk along Asling Beach, then crossed the road before the caravan park and walked the boardwalk part way around the lake. Lots and lots of birdlife, swans, black cockatoos, wrens, bellbirds, new holland honeyeaters etc

It could be early in the morning, or it could be dusk, but seriously anytime of the day is good to do this walk.
It's a pleasant walk along a pretty idilic part of the south coast.
You'll be sprayed by the gentle feeling of salt water on your face as you stroll along here on your own time.
A great place to relax as well is at the southern end of the beach overlooking the ocean, you can get some benefit out of this regardless of the time of day.
Just beautiful, and invigorating.
So pack your walking shoes and head down for a walk, you'll,be glad you did.

I liked this walk. It was well indicated. We could walk on the boardwalk or on the beach, as both were heading to the same direction.
We were walking next to the Aslings Beach. At first there were many tourists, but when fog came up, most of the people left.
On the boardwalk we found some paintings of boats. That was neat!
I found a couple of picnic tables.
At one time, on our left, we saw the cemetery.
Birds were singing and we were able to see one of them.
The walk was either 3kms long or 6 kms long.
I felt invigorated walking here.
This was worthwhile to walk here!
