Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The lookout offers some good views across the water. On an overcast day, this was not overly spectacular. The local park and memorial to the lives lost at sea is a sombre reminder of the danger associated with the sea. Worth a brief look.

For an easy to access place the views are beautiful, only a hundred meters max from the car park which has toilets and open spaces. On a nice day with whales passing through could be a magical experience

Nice spot, great views and when the whales are running it would be a great vantage point without the need to be on a boat. Plenty of parking, a kids playground and picnic facilities including a dunny that my wife and daughters didn't complain about.

We went early on a Sunday morning. A local church group were there enjoying a church service at the lookout. There is a helpful map and plenty of different seats available to sit on. The toilets that are present are clean and well maintained. We did visit again in the afternoon. A well presented area.

Excellent views from the lookout perched on top of the cliff across the bay to the wood mill. The viewing platform is just a short walk from the carpark and has plaques with some historic details. There is plenty of parking and there are toilets and picnic tables.

The lookout was a short distance from the Rotary Park. It had 180 views of Twofold Bay and offered information about whales and other possible water specie sightings.

The lookout and path along the top of the cliff provides a lot of good spots to view the ocean. You can see the large cruise ships coming into the wharf on some days. During October and November the place is busy with people watching whales
