A great little place to spend an hour or two. Tasty wines and a nice patio to sit on and sip a glass of wine. The young lady behind the bar was very nice and knowledgeable about the wines. It is a small family run vineyard. It is worth a stop and we will be back again when we are... More

If you enjoy wine, this is a must do stop if you are anywhere near. It is what you want to see from a small family owned vineyard. The mother is behind the counter, the brother is bottling wine, and the daughter is helping you sample their wines. The atmosphere is inviting with hand painted floors that resemble slate (which... Huffman Vineyards is an unexpectedly nice family-owned vineyard about 30 minutes west of Jacksonville, NC. They maintain their own large vineyard, growing a variety of grapes to support their 25 different wines. These wines range from dry to semisweet to sweet. The wine tasting is an incredibly affordable $5 for a tasting of your choice of 10 wines. The wines... More

Huffman's Vineyard is a treasure in Onslow County! Most East Coast North Carolina wineries focus on Muscadine wine; however, Huffman's Vineyard carries a wine for everyone! They have summer wines, sweet wines, dry wines, and more full bodied wines such as Norton (which is almost impossible to find in this area). Tastings are inexpensive and the staff are kind. The... What a great experience! Very warm and inviting. Loved the wines, especially the dry. Awesome afternoon on my way to the beach. Had to take 6 bottles because of the quality and knowledge of my bartender. She was a daughter in the family and made me feel like a member, though I was just passing through. I will be back... It was a great place to visit. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was great, we went home with a case of wine that we loved! You can even buy hummus and chips or a big tub of cheese to eat while drinking the wine tastings. It's $5 a person and we went home $120 later with all... More

Out for the day and found this nice family owned winery. You get 10 tastings for $5, can't beat that (and if you are willing to share with someone you could taste up to 20 different wines). They also have and outdoor patio and fireplace to sit and relax. Definity worth the time and money.
