We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the plantation. The docents were very knowledgeable. This was an extremely large private collection of antiques. The home is still owned by the original family. This is a must see. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't take pictures...More

Whole family went there and totally enjoyed it! Carol the docent was knowledgeable and so very nice. Plan accordingly, due to limited staff please call to set up appointment since only on Thursday. Fee is dirt cheap too, only ten bucks a person, and you...More

A very impressive piece of history that has been saved by a dedicated family. Absolutely beautiful place! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the New Bern area. Only open on Thursdays though, so plan ahead.

Beautiful family home. Recently had a massive restoration and landscaping. Family cemetery on site. House looks as if the family is still there.
