My friend and I went for the day on a recommendation of another friend. It's a small village. There is a main area in a circle, so it's easy to navigate. On the edge of the village is a "farm" area with belted galloway cows,...More

Thank you for the review. Checking our calendar of events before a visit is a great idea - there are often events in McIntyre's Books, trunk shows at Dovecote, and then there's music at Roost and other special events. Always good to know what's going...More

Coffee shop is a bit overpriced but has some original deserts. Love supporting independent bookstores which offers author workshops. Too small a village to make it an afternoon ballad. But my kids love seeing the goats and cows so close, and I love to have...More

I first visited many years ago and found this charming. This is a village with a village center: good restaurants, shops, especially an independent bookstore. More importantly, it's a vital community. There are 2,000 people living there and they have a genuine sense of community....More

One of the reasons we love to stay at the Inn is to walk the beautiful village and grounds, browse the shops, visit the Belties, toast an afternoon glass of wine, and enjoy good food. And then there's the bookstore. We could spend an entire...More

Late to the bandwagon here with an answer, but Fearrington is not an age-restricted community. There are a number of young families that live here along with a thriving retirement community.
