Short, nice hike

This is a nice hike to a pretty waterfall. We hit this one early so it wasn't crowded. The trail is only .7 mile one way and is an out and back. There is limited parking on the... read more

We have been to many falls great and small. Some with a lot of water and some like this one with very little. I gave it average because I have been to many nicer ones but this one is easy to access via an easy path. Great for those who cannot do moderate or difficult hikes. I am in my... More

This is a nice hike to a pretty waterfall. We hit this one early so it wasn't crowded. The trail is only .7 mile one way and is an out and back. There is limited parking on the side of the road. The trail starts at a nice bridge where the road goes over the river. This makes for a... More

This hike does have a few hills, but is rated as "easiest" by the park. About 3/4 of a mile each each way to the falls, with a small area to have a picnic if you'd like. The falls themselves were fairly thin (as seen in the picture) but with some recent rain, you might get more. Either way, we... More

My wife and I and a female friend were visiting Brevard and Pisgah Forest is a regular stop. We first stopped at the ranger, information center and spoke to a female ranger about the different waterfalls in the area. We had been to Looking Glass Falls, which has an easy access. She assured us that the trail to Moore Cove... More

This is a fairly easy hike, 1.5 miles round trip with good hard packed dirt and a few steps to help you. There are inclines both ways. The falls is obviously large in the spring when water flows faster and smaller in the fall when season is dry. You can walk under the falls area and stand behind the water... More

These place has a fairly short hike in to see the falls. Most of the trail is fairly level and packed dirt is under foot. This place is nice because you can walk in front, behind, and under the small waterfall that is surrounded by the cove. Take the short walk and check it out!

Loved the hike to this falls. It starts with an uphill trend but eases up. There are steps, roots to walk over and some muddy spots on the day we were there, but all in all its an easy and pleasant hike. Boardwalks and bridges break up the trail. The tree that blocked the trail (mentioned in someone else's post)... More
