Beautiful 30 minutes hike to the falls. Easy access. Felt like far in the woods but actually not. Beautiful foliage and wooden cross bridges on the trail.

So glad we went walking in the forest even in rain. The area is well marked and the waterfall is worth it. The hike has several little bridges to get to it.

Nestled in-between Sliding Rock and Looking Glass Falls off Hwy 276. Driving north towards the Blue Ridge PKWY from Brevard, about 1.0 miles past Looking Glass Falls on the right is a small parking area on the side of the road just before you cross...More

This waterfall required a hike. Take water. Wear tennis shoes. You can stand behind the falls and when we were there, there was a rainbow in the falls. Hard to get photos of just the falls because of people wanting their photo taken behind them....More

In Pisgah Forest 1) no fee to enter road; 2) decent parking to hiking trails 3) easy hikes for families friends etc. The forest road is beautiful -- sometimes full of people going too fast, but easy. Park on side in some designated parking, but...More

The falls are pretty, but I didn't love them. We went in early November during a drought though, so the water was a trickle and didn't impress me. Maybe during wetter seasons, they could have been a lot better. The hike isn't too difficult, and...More

Great falls. Unique and fun for the kids. We went to Looking Glass, then Moore Cove, then Sliding Rock all before lunch and no crowds! Dahlias just outside the Forest entrance is a nice lunch spot.
