Kinda hard to find had to ask ranger for directions. Cool lighthouse but can not go into and walk to the top.

Unless you have to visit every lighthouse, you can give this a pass. NO Access inside, but impressive boardwalk to a locked no access door. Lightkeeper cottage is private residence.

The second oldest lighthouse in America, built in 1823, is still shining. A nice photo op! Too bad the interior is not available for touring.

Easy to find but, frankly not too much to see. It's lovely and in a delightful setting but the fifteen minute parking requirement is about right. You look, take a photo or two and it's time to move on.

Small lighthouse with beautiful surroundings. 15min parking and cannot enter but worth the trip to see, visit community, and ride the ferry to the island.

Great island with awesome history. Little shops and small restaurants make this one of my favorite spots.

There's not much to do here, there's only enough parking for a few cars at a time. You cannot climb this one, go to Hatteras or Bodie Island for that. If you are looking to stamp you National Parks passport, the stamps are not here,...More
